Could be but the guy talking is Najam Sethi. Very close to the Government/Military and usually very good with his claims and predictions.Total fake
AVM Shahid Latif repeated this claim more than once during his interviews that J-10A were offered but PAF rejected it at that time and insisted on continuing Thunder's development.Hi,
J10 A was never offered---. Musharraf made the deal for 36---and the changes that the Paf requested were making of the J10B---.
Reasons unknown, but PAF did took back a more than 5~7 mins video about PAF modernization and a shorter version was uploaded in its place. May be too much details were given or something were deemed unnecessary making video lengthy. But as @Quwa mentioned, it was indeed there. This was first video mentioning Multi Domain HQ and other details.Just an update to my previous findings after @Quwa helped with some of the findings as well as gathering some information from X and on PDF.
My latest thinking is that the initial promotional video misquoted the Air Chief and as a result it was pulled and a new promotional video was released couple of weeks later.
Anyone having the link/access to the original promotional video and sharing it here would be most appreciated.
The original press release that was published on the ISPR's website dated 2 January 2024 is still there.

PAF will wait for WS-19's competition, certification and integration on platform, IMHO.Using the story of PAF rejecting the J-10A as an analogy to the FC-31/J-35 is inappropriate.
I agree that PAF will not introduce new immature fighters.
However, the development background of FC-31/J-35 is totally different from J-10 series.
J-10 is the first 3rd-Gen (later renamed call as 4th-Gen) fighter developed by China. At that time, China's related technology was very backward and the R&D funds it could provide were very small. At the same time, all the subsystems of the fighter needed to be re-developed.
The situation facing the FC-31/J-35 is quite different.
“We want to make fighter jets like we make smartphones”, AVIC's leader said in an interview. - This is what AVIC is currently striving for. If this goal is ever fully realized, do you know what it means?
AECC does not allow WS-19 engine to be exported. the WS-21 engine is the engine they developed specifically for the foreign trade version of the FC-31/J-35.PAF will wait for WS-19's competition, certification and integration on platform, IMHO.
PAF Babas childhood crush for F16 still remainsHi,
F16 was already lost by then---. Paf was just wishing it could happen---.
They just kept lying to themselves---. And just because an army man made the deal for an aircraft---they became spiteful and rejected it---would not even consider it till the wakeup call came---.
