The fool returns to the fold.

Beijing might want to look into whether the Russians are using rare earths and other critical inputs from China to build these fighters. Give India a little taste of its own medicine lol @Michael @Oscar

This is not the way China deals with such issues.

China's rare earth ban is mainly aimed at the United States and the European Union. We do not target friendly countries. Russia is not affected by the ban.
But Indian companies are very much affected. Earlier India had sent a delegation to China to negotiate but it was not given a license.
==================================
Don't worry about the Su-57E.
Russia has very limited industrial capacity at the moment. Whether it's the avionics technical capabilities of the fighter or the manufacturing capabilities, they are no longer in the first queue of this world.

than we will have J-35 to counter it but remember bro Su-57 is worst most design of 5th gen jets, Its basically a modified SU-27 with frontal stealth only

Totally agree about su57 that india walk out of it in past .. but now story is different..

But from last few days ... J35 news was converted as fake rumors ..

Off course j35 is much better plate form then su57

India will not limit to su57 they might go for F35 as well....

F-35 have least chance because of string attached, and Sooner or later we will have 5th gen jet whether in form of J-35 or Turkish KAAN, its all about timeline not Fake rumors, PAF chief confirmed that J-35 is coming soon, how soon only PAF knows

The Pakistan Air Force, which was supposed to acquire the fifth-generation J-35 from China, is now going to settle for some used F-16s instead? Isn’t this a kind of betrayal? What sort of weakness or compromise are they making in return?”

Ad discussed before, upgrading our F-16 Block 50s is a smart move to keep our edge sharp and if we get a chance to grab 18 of the newer F-16 variants, that would be a solid boost for the PAF, both in capability and fleet longevity.

There’s still buzz about Iraqi F-16s possibly heading to Pakistan. Nothing’s confirmed yet, but if the deal happens and those jets are in good condition, they could help reinforce the fleet in the short term without needing major integration efforts.

Meanwhile, defense planners are thinking long-term. The JF-17 Block 1s are nearing the end of their useful life, and while the F-16 Block 15s likely have another 5 to 8 years in them, they’re not enough to carry the load against emerging regional threats.

On the fifth-gen front, the J-35 stands out as Pakistan’s most viable option right now. The military’s keeping quiet about exactly when it’ll enter service probably for strategic reasons but it’s clear we’re fully committed. With no shot at the F-35 and Türkiye’s Kaan still in development, the J-35 offers the best route to keeping a competitive edge in the next-gen air domain.

Here’s a plus for our timeline, India still doesn’t have a fifth generation fighter in service. Even if they sign a contract this year, it’ll take at least 3 to 5 years before anything becomes fully operational giving Pakistan a crucial window to get ahead.

In the meantime, Pakistan isn’t standing still. Additional J-10C fighters are expected to join the PAF, offering advanced capabilities like AESA radar and PL-15 BVRAAMs. These will help bridge the gap and strengthen frontline readiness while the fifth-gen transition continues.

Then I guess I will get to read more interesting stuff. 😎

Now they have something to discuss. Or they start bickering for no reason.

Don't believe click bait youtube videos and threads few are even claiming that PAF will get J35 on Dec 2026 such as @maverick and @Zarvan @MastanKhan with no reliable proofs and evidence to support their claims

J35's production will start from this year anytime, so I assume within 2-3 years will be reserved for PLAAF/PLAN to induct more J35, remember bro first customer of J35 are PLAAF/PLAN not PAF, so in my best guesstimate J35 delivery for PAF will start no sooner than 2029-2030 time-frame
I share the same opinion. Mass scale production brings down the costs through learning curve, fixed cost per unit and material cost per unit.
PAF signed the J-10 when it became economically viable when around 500 units produced. This is a stealth aircraft we are talking about. I dont see it with PAF untill PLAAN and PLAAF both integrate a good number of airframes.
I have even read about the 50% discount on the J-35 price tag to Pakistan. It was cannabis that Chinese used to smoke I guess, well they haven given up the habit decades ago. They are a healthy and sharp business nation. Expectno discounts from them.
