Jet without BRVs are nothing these days...
PAF have AIM 120C-5 with limited range and AIM 120D have better range and are latest version which can be available to PAF ...
We know US will never give AIM 260s to PAF .. only option which might workout is AIM 120D

So there addition definitely increase BRV range for F16s to some extend

PAF will have a sizeable quality advantage. Plus we won't be reliant on one missile type if AIM-120Ds are approved for sale

F-16 upgrades will come with AESA's for block 52's at the least. AIM-125D will come also. This may be the last upgrade for PAF for the next 10 years until F-16's start to see retirement.

With India mass inducting S-400 and creating front line rings to compromise PAF's fighters within PAF airspace, the best option for the long term future is to go Stealth. I know everyone will think money and all. But to counter this massive threat, that seems like a real solution. PAF's leadership also said that by 2047, PAF will be majority stealth so it makes sense.

UAE does not need the money, they will be more concerned with upsetting India, UAE Vipers are a no go for us.

Had they been Saudi or Qatari, then maybe yes...

I'd add getting the Ukrainians to agree to some deep tech or know-how transfer to NESCOM, NASTP, etc., re: engines, LMs, etc.

This can be done bilaterally and maybe even connected to training Ukrainian air crews and other personnel in Pakistan.

I don't know this hasn't been done already, we could have gotten a lot more from them during the 90s and early 2000s when they were selling equipment and technology for practically nothing.

Sorry to disturb, but what Russian would reply us on RD-93 engines for JF-17. Even what about the old engines already in use for block 1 and 2. ?
Sir, this act will push PAF in corner if Pakistan would handed over these jets to Ukraine. I have no soft corner for Russia. Because Russia was always an aggressor in there entire history. But for PAF they are a blessing. With continue supply of RD-93 engines and now setting up MRO facility for these engines.
So we must be careful with supply any weapons to Ukraine, Russia would take it as a direct challenge for them. Thank you.

stealth? 2047? Bruh... i am sure PAF ain't that stupid or short sighted.

Next war is not gonna come in 2047. It is a gonna be a lot sooner than most think. No way Indians are gonna let this thrashing just go under the rug.

Expect a bigger, more well planned false flag operation in Kashmir or even heart of India, similar in scale to Indian Parliament attacks or Mumbai attacks.

The script will be something like this:
The terrorists will be carrying Pakistani CNICs/Passports and be captured alive so India can show to the world and use that as evidence to preempt an all out war on PAF assets on the ground.

I think 5-10 years ago i would agree, but now China can latch or exceed Russia for engines, RD-93 is preferable for easy mainetence but we have alternatives now

UAE F16 chances are very limited or near to non , as there plateform are not much older and are customized variant for UAE still very near to block 70
