Ps: CAS has given a list of "other" mostly "ground equipment " that the PAF is more interested in acquiring from the u.s other then the ac.

Hopefully CAS has not got suicidal thoughts and has not asked for US ground Radars - the same US radars which the US conveniently SWITCHED OFF during OBL raid in Pakistan. Pakistan Military was in the dark.

I would say we could make a good deal here.

Give the MLUs and ADFs to Ukraine, get US to credit us the cash amount (above market rates) for these, use the credits to partially offset an upgrade to our 18 Block 52s and get another 18 Vs fresh off the production line

1) Ukraine wins
2) Trump wins
3) Pakistan wins

Master China won't be happy - so this is going to be nearly an Impossible scenario.

IMHO, Pakistan should have 25 to 28 squadrons by 2030.

Middle East has over $10 trillion invested in the USA over the past 50+ years. These investments are nothing new. Citi bank, Fox news, Twitter, Uber and many other public companies have majority or big shareholders from KSA / Middle East.

You are right on minerals and crypto. Pakistan has destroyed India's entire influence on the US with respect to turning Pakistan a "bad guy" every few years. That's history now. I don't think India's realized that yet.

US is China's enemy. We are providing leverage to their electronics industry with respect to rare earth minerals they never had and were 100% dependent on China. Pakistan US relationship is 70+ years old. This move Pakistan made is deadly for Indian interests and will negate support for anything big against Pakistan. SMART play indeed.

Bringing in F-35 = setting up a Pentagon outpost inside your living room = putting out a Trojan Horse at your front yard....

Now, the acquisition of J-35s by the PAF is no straightforward issue, given nukes can be also integrated with them. Tons of "paper work" needs to be done at the DC to ensure that they're only and only Bharat-centric. No wonder the Pentagon wants to have a presence on the ground with F-16s, high-tech radars (read sniffing gadgets) etc. so that it can have peace of mind.....

I do not know what is going to be more exciting when the J-35 gets delivered. The actual acceptence ceremony or the complete and utter Jeet meltdown that will occur on PDF.....
