Turkish Foreign Policy and Regional Geopolitics

If the United States is not deceiving us, it appears that there is a significant change in their policy towards Türkiye on the horizon. They aim to strengthen the existing relationship and essentially resolve all disagreements between the two nations permanently.

US Ambassador to Ankara and Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack spoke to AA

- (F35 and CAATSA sanctions) In my view, President Trump and President Erdogan will tell Secretary Rubio and Foreign Minister Fidan to 'get it done, find a way'; a solution is possible by the end of the year

- We all agree that there is a tremendous opportunity because we have two leaders who trust each other (President Trump-President Erdogan)

- For the first time, the US and Turkey have a commitment that says 'let's be offensive partners' rather than just defence partners

- The nation system enabled different groups to live together in the Ottoman Empire; today, a new dialogue is needed instead of confrontation

- A ceasefire in Gaza is possible in the near future

- Israel needs to be redefined, it is in the process of redefinition. The key to this path is Turkey

- In Syria, the only interlocutor is the Damascus administration

- SDF should be integrated into the new Syria

If someone would make a chart of Indians claiming someone is interested in their weapon platform and the actual sale taking place, that would be something very interesting to look at. lol

And remember this was 4 years ago. Everyone wants to buy Brahmos, somehow not even the Russians adopted it. Nor did they ask for any during the war with Ukraine. They preferred to get weapons from NK!

The article analyzes emerging geopolitical alliances between Turkey–Pakistan–Bangladesh and Greece–India–Cyprus. Turkey deepens long-term military ties with Pakistan and expands its influence in South Asia, including Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Greece and India forge a strategic partnership, reinforced by defense cooperation and joint military exercises. Cyprus also aligns with India diplomatically. These alignments reflect shifting regional power dynamics and a growing emphasis on military strategy over short-term diplomacy. The relationships are shaped by historical rivalries and national interests in Kashmir and Cyprus.

German article.

The Germans are overeacting, there's only been a few common exercises here and there. We hardly even hear about India on TV,let alone having a strategic partnership. It's mostly a dream of the Indians,to be making new friendships and alliances. I can't say about Cyprus though,I've no clue how close they are with the Indians.
