@side-winder bhai, again its hard to believe that their S-400s weren't working or launching missiles at PAF jets over LOC?Our fighters didn't actually cross into indian side. However, as a matter of fact, they were flying pretty close to LoC / IB to launch the munitions. Couple of them literally turning around from exactly over the LoC. Whereas, the western bases of IAF were silent as a grave. No scrambles or anything like that. The only persistent threat was the SAMs. And couple of our planes were actually locked however, got lucky to break the locks with quick manuvers.
That's straight from "horses mouth" that i can say on a personal note with 100% surety. Same thing about IAF's absence repeated by AM (R) Arshad Malik and former CAS Sohail Aman when PAF was hovering around the borders.
Having random friend's friend sort of sources don't really help - trust me. I don't discredit your source but may be he just didn't have the right information. The air forces have dozens of branches. Mostly ground branches incl logistics, accounts, education, etc - The personnel of these branches have absolutely zero knowledge about the Ops parameters and facts and mostly rely on hearsay within the airforce just as a common civilian does. Unless you directly heard from someone sitting on console with radar picture. Or someone at other key Ops seat. You can't really take your "insider" info as credible.
Actually No, there are many incidents where pilots deliberately crashed planes with passengers onboard. There are few instances (ex german wings flight 9525) but I don’t want to talk here as it will be off topic.Off topic ....but it was one of the only incident of its kind....pilot deliberately crashed plane with passengers on board....Indians are dangerouly stupid type of human species....
Damage on Pakistan side is confirmed as limited / easily repairable by multiple reliable sources including seniors on this forum with track record of integrity / contacts and impartial reporting. You are saying ‘no proof of any major destruction caused to Indian bases’ and I have no reason to dispute that view. However, when it comes to the lack of satellite images or evidence of any destruction caused by Pakistan’s strikes, I often see the following excuses:
- Releasing footage of firing Fatah rockets in media towards India by DG ISPR (or the military) is considered acceptable.
- Making claims of targeting more than a dozen Indian bases by DG ISPR (or military) is also acceptable.
- Showing clips of Indian media acknowledging Pakistan’s strikes on Indian bases in DG ISPR’s press conference is also acceptable.
The reality is that there is no proof of any major destruction caused to Indian bases; otherwise, DG ISPR would have shown it on day one.
- “This is not how the Pakistan Army operates — they take time to release footage.”
- “There is no need for the Pakistan Army to show satellite images or any hard proof because the world has already accepted Pakistan’s narrative.”
- “Pakistan does not want to escalate the situation, so it chooses not to release proof of the destruction.”
- “The whole world knows about the destruction of Indian bases, so there is no need to show anything.
- Indian military officer admitted that Pak strikes caused limited damages to personnel and equipment".
This is embarrassing where we have seen the satellite images of damages on Pak bases by Brahmos but we don't have any except one. The truth is that Pak failed badly to hit Indian bases and caused any destruction compared to what India did to ours.
Also that person should be court martialled who ordered to fire rockets towards India when India was hitting our main bases with super sonic missiles but then we all know he made himself FM.
Off topic but there have been several incidents of pilot suicide in last 25 years from EgyptAir, Germanwings and Malaysian Airlines. In Pakistan, pilot incompetence and stupidity has resulted in two crashes Airblue Islamabad 2010 and PIA in Karachi 2020.Off topic ....but it was one of the only incident of its kind....pilot deliberately crashed plane with passengers on board....Indians are dangerouly stupid type of human species....

Most people are trying to do this because they don’t want to accept a simple fact that, attacking India on ground was poorly planned and executed. However, when it comes to the lack of satellite images or evidence of any destruction caused by Pakistan’s strikes, I often see the following excuses:

Indian Air Force becomes first air force in the world to crash 550+ aircraft in the last 30 years.

How can we fail having shot down Indian fighters is the premise for this display of hubris.
The decision to fire rockets was a very poor one. Even bigger failure was not assessing this in time and making necessary changes. In a developing scenario the change should have been faster to adopt a better strategy.
It has been also confirmed that even PAF was in action and firing weapons. The type of weapons and the targets aren’t known except an attempt to take down S400. There is no proof of their success either. Surprising, since PAF is more focused and better planner than PA.
The design choices of airbases, in particular to the one you refer to, amongst others are odd. Sargodha AB was knocked out for several hours while the runways were repaired both down to poor design, and lack of adequate redundancy in the lack of runways, also in the design of the airbases. It was shocking to hear Sargodha was knocked out for several hours, it is such an important airbase as well.
I think our air bases Bholari, Shehbaz etc were attacked after BuMIndia got slapped and Pakistan was the last to slap and India was the last to get slapped before the ceasefire
That's fine. Most people are trying to do this because they don’t want to accept a simple fact that, attacking India on ground was poorly planned and executed.

Dual runway is great to have if they are parallel. A strike on one runway wouldn’t be able to stop the operations.Sarghoda has a duel runway, one of a very few air bases in South Asia with one
