Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

I honestly don’t see the fuss, state governments and their security forces often have different priorities than central agencies. Mandates can clash, it’s not unusual. Happens even in my own southern state. That’s just federalism, messy, yes, but completely normal. I get that it might seem odd to those used to one agenda, one uniform, and one COAS calling the shots from the top.
Federalism? How about a state to state clash. 😊

100%. This is exactly what I have been saying - Indian LOSSES ARE MUCH MORE ! It is Pakistan Govt which decided to stick with a certain number to give India some face saving to defuse the situation.
Until May 2025, I didn't realise so many Pakistanis cared so much about the feelings and honour of indians and their government given all the "restraint" and hiding all those secret details.

You mean democratically elected, I know that’s a tough concept when you’re used to generals running the show. Don’t worry, you’ll keep preferring them for the next hundred years… until 'Field Marshal' becomes the default job title for head of state.

Sure and you will have succumbed to your Hindu demons by then, so all is well yes?

Now lets get back to topic....

You have had one government coalition fail in 1979 and another in 1991 over the RSS fscor. Want me to retell you your history?

Meanwhile CONGRATULATIONS on 100 years of Hindutva.
1925 . The year Doctorji dreamt of a spiritual India.
The great Bharat is in three pieces facing two nuclear armed adversaries on two long frontiers. A National Caste census looms, and the "Hindi" out of the "Hindi, Hindu, Hindustan " slogan is being challenged ironically by those who speak Doctorji's mother tongue

Yes, coalitions failed, welcome to democracy. Parties rise, fall, align, and split and that's how representative politics works. As for your 100 year dig, thanks for the history lesson. But we’d still take a noisy, flawed democracy juggling caste, language, and ideology over a manufactured unity enforced by boots and bans. At least our debates happen in parliament and not in barracks.

If you dont get raped on the way to parliament first.

Bhai the point is valid and simple. Why don't we have any satellite pic of what we hit in Pathankot, Udhampur, Adampur and Beas?

We know we shot down at least 4 of their jets because of their wrecks on the ground taken by Indians themselves that have been ID'd. We know their claim of shooting down any of our aircraft is bogus because such a wreck would have been on the internet.

Now when it comes to hitting a base an indian civilian may record the smoke rising and upload it online, but to prove what it actually hit, you need the satellite image.
If you don't see it, does not mean it does not exist.
If you did not see it happen, does not mean it did not happen.
Somethings are not shared for maintaining secrecy around your capability. Since this capability is extended by an Ally, you can use it to your advantage but can not disclose it to the enemy/world.
The proof is in the below video (hint: live updates)

Interstate clashes happen Tamil Nadu vs Karnataka, Karnataka vs Maharashtra, and yes, even Merapani. That’s part of the complexity of managing a vast, diverse federation. What’s odd about it? The key is, these disputes play out without tanks in capitals or coups being staged. That’s the strength of federalism, messy, yes, but not dictatorship. We’ll take that any day over a system built on ‘one flag, one voice, one uniform’.

Yes, for you it is one religion and one leader.

India is a religious fundamentalist state, but yeah, you voted for it, so all good....

True that, no single leader here to round them all up and throw them in jail. Must be a strange concept when you're used to ‘order’ being enforced at gunpoint.

Absolutely, because we voted for it, and when things go too far, we’ll vote them out. No popular government lasts forever, and Indian voters have a track record of making that clear. The chaos is part of the deal, that’s how it works.

Sure, so you stick with your religious fundamentalist government and we will stick to Army Generals.

Now move on

You’ve got it backwards, we don’t stick with one government. We vote them in, and when needed, we vote them out. You just rotate the top guy when he retires and by 'you,' I mean your army. We’ll take noisy democracy over quiet dictatorship any day.. ok time to move on I guess

Yeah, whole nation is now BJP lovers, the very fabric of Indian soceity has changed, but you seem to be happy with it, and I am too
