For what its worth, the people of Falastin are usually Manstream Hanafis and Shafi Asharis, not those that identify with the najdi dawah usually. You will see a lot of videos coming out of Gaza of them doing Salawat in groups, among other things.

The Salaf is everywhere nowadays hence there are battalions and groups amongst them. I would say majority are except the leadership but I believe the coming leadership would be such, the younger generations of them are majority salaf.

Nowadays is more trendy being Salaf it is just another normal Sunnah thing. Example in places like Tunisia, KSA, Algeria, Egypt, Indonesia and Malaysia the Salaf has seen like signicificant rise amongst the younger generations majority are Salaf.

Because being a Salaf is simple and easy.

It is more individualistic and minimal. Pray your daily prays, go to mosque on fridays if you can and do not subscribe to any sheihkh or anyone only verify what you getting from any ulema or so-called sheihk there is no blind following.

Prayers and Duas are only strictly to Allah directly..

There is no game going on. It is just that the majority of the younger generation prefer Salaf because it is easy and simple.

Sufism is declining sharply, Hanafism etc etc are also declining amongst the younger generations.

I would even say places like Azerbaijan is seeing such rise which is quite surprising it is not only in Sunni countries.

You know that the majority of Assad's Shabiha were Alawites right? And the elites forces and the higher up officer class was Alawites. There are plenty of sectarian things documented by these people, they filmed it themselves. The Assad Clan made sure to have the higher position and positions of power from his group, to avoid any internal coup. I remember one scene where they buried a man alive and he is saying the shahadah with his last breathe and they mock him, by saying there is no god but bashar. Other videos from Miqdad Fatiha and others from the Shabiha doing things.

Remember also they use to target Pregnated women with snipers saying in interview publically like if I don´t kill him now, he will come for me tomorrow.

By the way the druze cleric (who got his moustache cut) got executed by HTS gangs.
HTS gang members who participated in the coast massacre are seen fighting in Sweida! (so no justice was given).
19 civilians in a Druze guest house were massacred. Al-Sharaa militias (without moustache, but with beard) are looting Druze shops and calling it Qanimaat.
Meanwhile IsQatil is abusing the situations and attacking HTS gangs.

The current Syrian Army,as you know,is of course made up of HTS and the various radical groups and gangs. They're just designated "Syrian Arab Army" now.

Iranians in this thread are really lost and without any logic.

First they supported Assad against the Syrian people.

Now Assad is gone, they dont support the new government.

They hate Israel, but now are supporting Israel against the Syrians.

Everytime when muslims fight against non-muslims, they support the non-muslim side (USA vs Saddam, India vs Pakistan, Armenia vs Azerbaijan, FSA/HTs vs Russia).

Very weird mindset. Maybe because of the pistachios or saffron.
