Imagine if the US invaded Mexico, and captured only 20% of its territory with 1M+ dead and wounded. We’d be dragged over the coals by everyone on this forum and the world and deservedly so.

You do realize, do you not, that the west is providing Ukraine with just enough assistance fast enough in order for them to die slower? We, the west that is, don't want Ukraine to win. The objective is to bleed Russia. Yet somehow, we keep forgetting the longer this goes on, the harder it will be to remove Russia from Ukraine.

The whole pretense for Russia's invading Ukraine in the first place was pure bullshit. NATO expansion was a false flag. NATO has been on Russia's doorstep for years. This was all about Putin reinstalling a Russian puppet and keeping Ukraine "under control".

Putin could care less about losses.

So far, western sanctions don't seem to be impacting Russia as some people believe. Stop believing what is being published by ISW. You do know some of the folks over there have family ties to Victoria Nuland, the one who was really running the war up until Jan. 20th of this year.

Russias strategic goals have been defeated and Ukraine remains Western aligned economically and militarily. Understand? Whether Russia captures the Donbass or not is irrelevant to the broader strategic outcome of the war. The Donbass will only be a symbolic/pyrrhic victory.

And my previous post stands. If the US military intended to seize Mexico City, overthrow its government, and install an American puppet but failed to do so, capturing only 20% of their territory, with 1M+ dead and wounded American soldiers we’d be the laughingstock of the planet.

It’s year 4 of the invasion, the front is a stalemate, and Putin is still under the delusion he will achieve a grand breakthrough and that delusion is costing hundreds of thousands of lives.

What matters is in spite of what you want to believe, the Russians are still firmly entrenched in Ukraine and are not on the verge of being defeated anytime soon.

Ukraine on the other hand, without western aide, would be firmly back in the Russian orbit with a Putin stooge at the helm. Kinda like Luka over in Belarus.

What you don't want to admit is Putin is playing Trump.

Any ending of the war as it currently sits now will be with 20% of Ukrainian territory permanently ceded back to Russia.

20% of Ukraine that’s mostly destroyed, will require hundreds of billions in reconstruction/demining etc, and working population who have mostly fled their homes. And nearly 10% of that was taken in 2014. So since 2022 the Russians have taken an additional 10% of Ukraine at the cost of 1M+ dead and wounded, over 22,000 equipment losses, NATO expansion, and a Ukrainian government and people that will be anti Russian for generations.

Russia nor anyone here can even define what victory looks like for Russia anymore. The frontline has been a stalemate for 3 years now. Time to face reality

US share of world GDP is at its highest since 2005, and comparable to the mid 90s. US companies control over 50% of the world’s market capitalization. US economic dominance hasn’t gone anywhere

I’m currently reading Ian Tolls Pacific War Trilogy. It took the US a year to find its footing, then beat the absolute shit out of the Japanese all across the Western Pacific. That’s how it’s done, not 3.5 years of grinding trench warfare with 1M+ dead and wounded, on your own border with little to show for.

I’m currently reading Ian Tolls Pacific War Trilogy. It took the US a year to find its footing, then beat the absolute shit out of the Japanese all across the Western Pacific. That’s how it’s done, not 3.5 years of grinding trench warfare with 1M+ dead and wounded, on your own border with little to show for.

If Ukraine suddenly starts dropping drones in Red Square, the most likely Russian response is going to be Kiev looking far worse than it did when the Germans withdrew.

The Russians are continuing to take and hold ground. Self-anointed experts and regurgitators continue to say western objectives are to degrade Russian military capability. I'm an expert in logistics and have a number of friends in certain industries. It's going to be awhile before we're where we need to be. I put a lot of the blame for that directly on Biden. The Europeans have reluctantly acknowledged Trump was right 8 years ago.

At some point in time, this will end. With a lot of Ukraine under a new flag.
