The guy is a false flag and a troll. Just staining his country name.
I know a regurgitator when I see one.

Have read enough posts now to know there is little independent thought; mostly a spin on what is on the usual sites being passed off as deep analysis.

Please, do share with us your CV in military matters. I'm strangely interested. Would also like to know if you ever served or if your experience is limited to Avalon Hill and reading books.

You seem to forget that basic Russian warfighting doctrine is little changed since WWI. Putin could care less about losses.

If Ukraine suddenly starts dropping drones in Red Square, the most likely Russian response is going to be Kiev looking far worse than it did when the Germans withdrew.

The Russians are continuing to take and hold ground. Self-anointed experts and regurgitators continue to say western objectives are to degrade Russian military capability. I'm an expert in logistics and have a number of friends in certain industries. It's going to be awhile before we're where we need to be. I put a lot of the blame for that directly on Biden. The Europeans have reluctantly acknowledged Trump was right 8 years ago.

At some point in time, this will end. With a lot of Ukraine under a new flag.

Often, individuals fail to consider the scale of support the Ukrainians are receiving from the West in its totality, not just physical arms but intel from various assets, including satellites.

While the Russian land army has taken a hit, they've been able to replenish their rank and manufacture new equipment to toss on the battlefield. As you said, logistics encompasses raw materials and end-stage manufacturing.

The Russian Air Force and Navy are still intact; thus, there isn't much loss on the Russian side of things.

Now, whether and when this war ends or continues for much longer, we can't deny the Russians are learning while engaged in active combat and rearming through drones and other tech. They have a high-tech supplier in China, which plugged the gap when the Europeans pulled away. Russia will come out differently in this war.

If we look at this conflict, it's a NATO vs Russia grind at the moment; Ukraine is nothing but a tool, or as we say, an extension.

Exactly.

As I've said numerous times, Ukraine lives thanks to the west. We provide them just enough fast enough to die slower while we evaluate current Russian capabilities.

Drone warfare has changed everything. The Ukes have been the tip of the spear and everyone is learning. And that includes the Chinese.

They are not intact. The VMF suffered losses, mainly the original naval assets of the Black Sea Fleet. At this point, the VKS's attrition has decreased significantly, to the point where they have already produced a similar or greater quantity than they lost in the war. However, this cannot be confirmed unless someone can verify it. However, with the decrease in attrition (losses) and the increase in VKS fighter production, they are at a point where they should or are about to increase the size of the VKS Fleet.

The Russians have always had a tendency to end a war differently from when they started. The beginning is always turbulent and confusing, but then they improve and learn over time, practicing the much-studied Russian teachings.

Ukraine map today vs July 2022

It’s a stalemate on the front, and Putins war has done nothing in the last 3 years to advance his strategic goal of overthrowing Z and installing a Russian puppet government and bringing the majority of Ukraine under Russian military control.

Again, you can’t even define what victory looks like for Russia under the current battlefield. The Donbass? Putin may not care about losses, but 1M+ dead and wounded with only the Donbass to show for it is the definition of a Pyrrhic victory.

This war under current conditions is a strategic loss for Russia. You’re too focused on land acquired(with most of it is destroyed and working population gone) versus the broader strategic outcomes of the war. Ukraines independence and alignment with the West, NATO expansion, degradation of the Russian military and economy, strategic gains for the US in the Middle East and Russias loss of the Assad alliance and inability to help Iran in the 12 day war.

You’ve brought nothing new here that hasn’t been discussed ad nauseum.

The Russian Army has been able to replenish only through there vast Soviet stockpiles, new production doesn’t come close to covering losses they sustained. They’ve cut way down on mechanized assaults to preserve what armor they have left and mostly relying on massed infantry assaults now.

Ukraine has won the Black Sea battle. The Russian Navy is MIA in the central and Western Black Sea after the losses they took. Now the Russians have to stay near their base in Novorossiysk.

The VKS are mostly intact, but have been unable to gain air superiority. Ukraines small Air Force is still operational today

There is nothing to evaluate from Russia, they've proven to be worthless, and no longer a real threat to the western order.

Putin, Russia, nor anyone here can even define what victory looks like for Russia anymore.

Sure, Ukraine hasn’t achieved outright victory. They’ve lost 20% of their territory and are still stalemated, but they’ve defeated Russias main goal of overthrowing Z, occupying Kyiv, and most of Ukraine. Thats a victory for Ukraine and the West, and the costs Russia have incurred outweigh the land they’ve acquired, most of which is worthless.

I asked GPT if the current battlefield is a Pyrrhic victory for Russia, and GPT agrees with me. Then I followed up with “So it’s a strategic loss for Russia?”

Agrees with me again 🤣
