Well to be honest no real major conventional threats to any major Muslim country. Thoise that surround Isreal have been neautered

GCC face no major mass land armies on it's borders, same in North Africa, the whole Morrocco-Algeria thing is like women with handbags, Malaysia and Indonesia due tio location are fine. Central Asians have no argument with each other

Pakistan stands alone as the only muslim country facing a numerically larger and better equipped non muslims foe at its gates. That tends to sharpen the mind

Also explains why most of the countries on that list send their officers to Pakistan for training

Valid point , the nations away from Middle East are relatively calmer

However in term of presence and Capability , 70% Nations don't have ability to make an impact on world affairs concerning issues like Genocide against Muslims

Majority of the backwardness is due to Poverty

Poverty was also the main issue why Ottoman Empires crumbled in last 100 years of their existence, so even if the new nations formed the POVERTY has remained

• Nationalism only delivered , the statement "I am with this flag so I am great"
• However in term of "Performance" at world stage performance is "Zero"

The OIC as a group in my opinion has "Failed" to impose any presence on world stage

• I do not know what objective it has if it can't stop wars , it started with ambition to have a unified response force for aggression
• However when it was time to perform , every OIC nation did nothing worth remembering

Because OIC failed on Palestine, protecting 5 million people , in my opinion this whole organization has no purpose

One has to look at capability and overall force structure and training, not just equipment (this is the mistake Indians always make)

On paper the Saudis are incredibly well equipped. Air power wise possible the best in Muslim world.

Would Pakistan or Turks beat them in sustained air combat. would be tough but I would say yes.

In land warfare Turkey and Pakistan would walk through Saudi like it was a shopping mall.

Egypt? Some good equipment and large army but due to politics their air force is handicapped. Pakistan fighting the Egyotian army though would be very very tough.

So many factors on play here, as we all know with these lists, they can never take into account every thing so often mean very little, however if we focus on 3 main areas, Training, equipment and integration of assets. If you combine these I think Pakistan has an edge over the entire muslim world, including Turkiye

They don't have ability to modernize

Egypt is some what in same boat , while they did tried to improve their airforce to certain levels , it's a reasonable effort but they have been keen to stay out of conflict

However Saudis /Egypt have generally not been countries to get involved in war unless someone was invading them

1 - If they can stop war
2-Can they bring aid into regions hit with war

If they can't accomplish this simple task it is wasteful venture

So far they have failed with flying colours

Sure at Diplomatic level Saudis were active for Palestine , however as whole OIC as a organization is failure

The UAE have some seriously good kit, but like the Indians, struggle to translate this into capability.

The Amount of disorganization which exist in 70% of Muslim Armies is mostly

a) Lack of resources
b) Using out dated world war 2 style weapons in 2025
c) Dealing with poverty , same issues which crippled Ottoman Empire their status has not changed in 100 years (except may be few countries )


Colonial Empires sold the idea of Nationalism , to smaller countries that Nationalism will bring prosperity , wealth , better life but after 100 years these countries are Poor , and Backward. 2-3 Generation have passed and they are poor

• Lebanon , just above poverty , lower middle class
• Libya , could have been rich were , made poor by outside interference

So there is a wave of poverty

Colonial Empires worked 50-100 years against Ottoman Empire to create this ideology of "Nationalism", so people don't view themselves as Muslim but as "Nationals" of some region. Separating the people , so they don't view each other as One Muslim Entity


70% Nations have mediocre military or capabilities

15% Have some weapons they refuse to fight , they are happy selling oil

• They like things the way they are now
• Not Battle proven

10% Respond to Aggressor

• Yamen

5% Impotent Just do parade , lost will to fight do their job

It will take them a century to rebuild their enclave in Yemen and locked it there and they were under siege for years. Turkey and Pakistan would not walkover Saudi Arabia that is a ridiculous conspiracy theory. Conventional warfare do not happen like that.

Turkey will beat KSA but it will be a very prolonged war, It won´t be a walkover and if you add GCC vs Turkey I think it would even be more difficult.
