Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

There's probably a hundred different reasons for that depending on the country and the specific conflict, I can't give you a generic response and it has nothing to do with this event. In this specific situation, ask the Druze why they are committing treason against their own state and fellow countrymen by inviting in its worst enemy Israel to bomb them, just to protect their drug trade. That might be a good reason why everyone is against them now, it has nothing to do with religion, any group would be handled the same way in literally any country around the world.
Hey to be fair I think many Druze leaders will hop the fence in a heartbeat they will turn sides in a heartbeat regardless how I feel about jolani and the friends he hasn’t sent packing back to their homes yet but yeah right now not actually supportive of any side in Syria hoping Syria as a whole like Palestine as whole gets better leaders

exactly, Turkey didn't do anything to them or or even in Suweida, outside of diplomacy Turkey wasn't involved. But they can't keep turkey's name out of their mouth, I think part of it is jealousy over Turkey's own defense capacities and breakthroughs and part of it is their own insecurity and bitterness about their own Syria project project they invested billions over several collapsing within less than two weeks. lol
Turkey could by using its fighter jets and airdefence systems at least defend HTS regime from Israeli bombardments. But Turkey is not going to do that and you know why (Trade, Diplomatic, intelligence ties with Israel, being member of NATO etc).

Turkey and Qatar just chickened out of the 30 states summit ("Hague Group Summit"), they decided not to take any measures against Israel, while 12 members, among them Oman and Iraq, decided to act against the genocide:

12 states from across the world - Bolivia; Colombia; Cuba; Indonesia; Iraq; Libya; Malaysia; Namibia; Nicaragua; Oman; Saint Vincent and the Grenadines; and South Africa - have committed to implementing the six measures immediately through their domestic legal and administrative systems. The measures seek to "break the ties of complicity with Israel’s campaign of devastation in Palestine", the group added.

Syria has less stability now and I don't think the aligned western-turkish plan and position for Syria was that good after 13 years. Syria was a dictatorship, with all its bads, the economy was growing and it was stable. Reforms or waiting it out would be better path for Syrians. I give the same advice about my own country, I'm against revolutions and civil war.

CIA's Timber Sycamore (2012–2017): Turkey provided access to logistics bases, especially near the Syrian border. The CIA operated training and weapons transfer points in southern Turkey (e.g., near Adana or Hatay). Rebel fighters were trained and armed via routes that passed through Turkey. Turkey and the U.S. had a shared short-term goal: weaken Assad.

Anyone who dreams of splitting Syria has to go thru Syria, Syrian gov´t and the Syrian people. This is a conspiracy that has completely died and was never feasible or realistic.

Hey I’m not in favor of jolani but not in favor of Israel arming groups trying to instigate another civil war which seems like that’s exactly what they are attempting to do an will most likely succeed Israel has armed many Isis factions in the past and currently doing so because they worked for their agenda this isn’t conspiracy anymore or just assuming it might be true Israeli officials are now openly saying it so friends today as long as your butchering Muslims and Christian’s enemies once the battle is over than have a weaken opponent to send new allies that will butcher more innocent people and weaken the opposition until Israel is left standing on top without getting their hands bloody

As long as the USD is the global reserve currency , Israelis, via America, use an acre of thickly wooded land into a large amount of $$ to stuff into suitcases to bribe people. It is basic arithmetic and it works all over the world. And I don't think such printing of Dollar bills affects America's inflation and economy much because the money goes overseas.
$$$$$$$$ talks and talks aloud!

Syria has roughly 23 million inhabitants. Any interim government that hopes to consolidate power must first retake the oil-rich east from Kurdish forces—an act that collides head-on with U.S. energy and geostrategic interests in the region. Israel, seeking to enlarge its security perimeter, leverages American backing to cultivate Druze militias in Syria’s southwest, carving out a pro-Israel buffer zone. Turkey, under the banner of counter-terrorism, keeps pummeling Kurdish formations to prevent their consolidation. Washington and Tel Aviv, dominant in global media, will inevitably weaponize narratives to magnify Syria’s ethnic and sectarian fault lines—Kurd, Druze, Alawite, Sunni—stoking mutual hatred, manufacturing justification for renewed civil war and perpetual external intervention, Turkey, Israel, and the United States are also jointly preventing other external forces from entering Syria.

This is not true at all.

If you have been following the recent US politics this is not the case. Tom Barrack US envoy has already had meetings with the SDF head telling him basically this is impossible project and doomed.

As for these in Suwayda they were pretty much handled and aspirations has now died. Suwayda file is officially over.

The only thing remaining right now is the SDF which has agreed to join the Gov´t and it´s forces to be ingrated into the Syrian army.

Why the US has chosen to stand with Turkey and Syria and wants a unified Syria? Turkey is already NATO and they want Syria as another NATO ally expansion into the levant. Turkey is absolutely against anything called SDF and will crush them even if militarily possible. The agreement is for SDF to hand over all oil-fields, plus border crossing otherwise Turkey threatens to enter and crush the SDF.

The SDF has little stracgtic value to offer the US.. They are just a militia at the end of the day and you don´t chose that over a NATO ally and Syrian gov´t that is also a staunch ally.

It is like China chosing Pakistan over an irrelevant militia.

SDF has already been informed about the US intentions and everybody within the SDF knows that.

If the United States truly supports Syria’s unity, it should return the oil fields in eastern Syria to the interim Syrian government and impose sanctions on Israel for its occupation of the Syrian Golan Heights.

The Golan heights situation is not from this adminstration´s era but it was Hafez Al-Assad back in 1967 who ceded Golan Heights to Israel under a deal.

Yes the Oil-fields and gas-fields will return in the hands of the Syrian gov´t and note Syria doesn´t have much oil and gas. They have enough to only meet half of their needs and no exports..

All sanctions have been lifted from Syria and investments have entered Syria. It is flowing with money.

Israeli invasion of Syria (2024–present)

Since 2024, Israel has newly occupied Syrian territory and is committing genocide against the Palestinian people.

And whats your point?? He still bombed Israel, and they bombed him, so he must be a anti-Zionist right? According to your simplistic world view. Why are you a Zionist supporter?
Israel refrained from bombing him when he actually send those firecrackers that break above Syria and Jordan .

They begged when they gotten their assess handed to them so hard that their skies were completely under Israeli control the entire time getting bombed at will dozens of times a day, when all their military leaders and scientist were killed, when their entire nuclear program was destroyed, and when were down to 15missiles a day. About a week in I'd say they were pleading for negotiations, your president was letting begging them to stop. Once only a thousand Iranians died, they waved the white flag and immediately accepted a ceasefire, they couldn't tolerate anymore. Pretty quick to fold unfortunately.
and still the fact is .
1- you have no proof for that.
2- iran did his most sever attacks toward Israel in last minutes before ceasefire

The US has made this clear
