the range is 650km vs 900km of shahed-131, the size is 3x2.5 compared to 2.6x2.2 of Shahed-131, a cruise speed of 100km vs 180km of Shahed-131 and it see its maximum altitude is 1km less than shahed-131

It might be to keep costs down. Due to inflation, and labour costs. Producing the exact same model of Shahed as Iran would cost significantly more in the US, so I assume it's a compromise to decrease the over all costs.

Where are these drones landing ? I am actually watching the Russia Ukraine wae thread but apart from some 3-4 attack videos of geran, I didn't see much of its use.

They are being used practically every day. Last night, the attack involved 426 drones and 24 missiles, with the targets concentrated in Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk (western part of the country), and Kharkiv.

In Kyiv, the targets were drone component factories.

In Ivano-Frankivsk, depots of military equipment supplied by NATO.

In Kharkiv, logistical support facilities for Ukrainian troops in the Donbass.
