Some brutal truths: .

• Destruction of mosques and killing of civilians resonates powerfully in the mindset of the fascists ( yes, the civilian masses who support the regime). It's the heady brew of vicious hatred on which the regime survives.

• Pakistani civilians are not off limits to killing under Geneva convention rules .Pakistanis are not civilians but "Muslims" and so must be mercilessly massacred with impunity , just as Muslims are massacred anywhere in India.
• It's not a war over terrorism, territory, or water resources, but the continuation of an ancient religious conflict and Pakistan is locked in an existential struggle with an enemy full of a desire for "revenge for a perceived 1500 years of humiliation ".
• It's an existential struggle and all means to impose costs on the enemy should be on the table, including retaliation in kind for the killing of our civilians and destruction of our houses of worship In the next round we should send a few DF-17s slamming into targets where it hurts the enemy psyche.

Is it possible the PAF did also conduct that 'Srinagar raid' that has been talked about where Shiv Aroor mentioned, where he said, jets were brought down....

to know the amount of damage, one needs to know, how many PL 15s were fired and since Indians could not show wreckage of PL 15, high chances that it damage (not completely destroyed) something

also,

given the corridor under which IAF operated (of around 200 KM ), also a hint, significant number of PL 15s were fired!

I'd say damaged aircraft are more than 14, may be around 20 (given the points mentioned above)

it would be overly prudent to over look the facts mentioned above!

The americans have also invested 100s of billions of dollars into india over the past 24 years. Yet despite all of this, the indians remain incapable of taking on Pakistan militarily let alone fulfilling the west's role as acting as a bulwark against China. The americans and the west have now began to painfully realize this reality which has caused them to distance themselves and become indifferent to india.

I know us Pakistanis are enjoying Trump's statement. But has anyone REALLY thought WHY he made it so public? Usually, between government to government, you help hiding your friends loss to avoid embarrassment and Trump does a good job of it.

The REAL story is, Trump is pushing India towards F-35's!! This is his kind of last huge push by making it so public that Modi gets pressurized from home. This statement of his was really for the entire India so Modi can let go of his mindset and gets pushed into doing a contract out of public pressure and what now becomes a national security issue. Especially with news of Pakistan acquiring Chinese stealth platforms.

Trump played a genius stroke and has turned the entire India against Modi. Their media is now asking questions they were avoiding before and saying "we need the F-35". That was Trump's strategy. Pakistan now needs to counter it. I'd expect a US deal soon on this with India.
