they’ve arrested a Jamaican illegal alien who is employed as a police officer in Maine after he illegally attempted to buy a gun, which triggered an alert to ATF. ICE says Jon Luke Evans, who is in the U.S. illegally as a visa overstay, was hired as a cop by Old Orchard Beach PD in ME, and admitted to trying to purchase the gun as part of his job. ICE says he first entered the U.S. lawfully by flying into Miami on 9/24/23, but never left on his scheduled departure flight on 10/1/2023, overstaying his visa ever since. Patricia Hyde, the Field Office Director for ICE Boston, which arrested Evans, released a blistering statement to FOX, slamming Evans’ hiring as a police officer: “Jon Luke Evans not only broke U.S. immigration law, but he also illegally attempted to purchase a firearm. Shockingly, Evans was employed as a local law enforcement officer. The fact that a police department would hire an illegal alien and unlawfully issue him a firearm while on duty would be comical if it weren’t so tragic. We have a police department that was knowingly breaking the very law they are charged with enforcing in order to employ an illegal alien. ICE Boston will continue to prioritize public safety by arresting and removing criminal alien threats from our New England communities.”
The democratic party and its ideology is a systematic threat to the country. This was no mistake by the PD they knew he was an illegal but they saw his colored skin and he likely barely passed the written exam and said you're hired!
These cities are cancers to this nation and I sorta jokingly have a list of cities that if they were nuked/neutron bombed the country would actually be better off.

As Naveen Athrappully reports for The Epoch Times, recruitment materials will be distributed across major college campuses, law enforcement networks, job fairs, and cities nationwide starting this week, DHS said. ICE encourages Americans with a commitment to upholding the rule of law to apply, it added.
“Your country is calling you to serve at ICE. In the wake of the Biden administration’s failed immigration policies, your country needs dedicated men and women of ICE to get the worst of the worst criminals out of our country,” Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem said in the statement.
“This is a defining moment in our nation’s history. Your skills, your experience, and your courage have never been more essential. Together, we must defend the homeland.”
At present, ICE employs more than 20,000 law enforcement and support personnel across more than 400 offices in the United States and globally.
According to DHS, the ICE recruitment drive is backed by “significant new funding” from the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) Act that was signed into law by President Donald Trump on July 4. The OBBB Act has allocated $150 billion to support immigration enforcement.
The Act allocated nearly $30 billion to ICE for hiring and training additional personnel, including signing and performance bonuses.
