the issue is were great at showing promise, but we never can afford to induct or complete development lol

Fatah GMLRS has excellent potential for sales. Even countries without airforces can have a strong stand off strike capability with these systems.

Cruise missiles can be very costly to acquire in large numbers. But these GMLRS should be relatively affordable.

Military product sales are not just about weapon specs, it needs active diplomatic involvement. Foreign office / diplomats / military liaison officers should have full briefings of all product line and know how, and should know about countries which may need such weapons. Many in africa and asia can be good target markets. We should learn from Turkey and France. These both countries are excellent in not only promoting their range of military products but using diplomacy to make sales. France even go a step further and bribes target country's military personal (they call it commission). Successful sales enables you to spend more on such products and make more products.

CJCSC General Sahir Shamshad Mirza Visits GIDS Stand at IDEF 2025, Praises Indigenous Systems


General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) of Pakistan, visited the stand of Global Industrial & Defence Solutions (GIDS) at the IDEF 2025 defense exhibition, currently underway at the Istanbul Expo Center.

During his visit, General Mirza met with Asad Kamal, CEO of GIDS, along with senior members of the GIDS team. The CJCSC was briefed on the organization’s latest defense solutions, including its range of indigenous unmanned aerial systems and precision-guided weaponry.

General Mirza specifically lauded the performance of the Fatah series of Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS), which played a decisive role in the recently conducted Operation Bunyam-um-Marsoos. He also appreciated the advancements made by GIDS in the field of UAV technology, acknowledging their growing significance in modern warfare and national defense capabilities.

GIDS continues to represent Pakistan’s commitment to self-reliance in defense technologies and remains a key player in the country’s defense export ambitions.
