I think Sub Sonic Missiles are obsolete based on review of recent
Iran-Israel war, the details which emerged were quite revealing

Alot of intercepts are made of the Sub Sonic types

The Scud Style missiles with predictable trajectories are old technology
While it can cause damage but opponent have SAM setup these do get intercepted more often now

You need lot of Missiles to penetrate defences , while Iran did claim they used old missiles in start of conflict , it had some success

Pakistan will have to continue to develop it's missiles to match up with development as they are happening in other countries

Who tf told you Shaheen series of missiles are Scud types?
They are staged missiles with PBVs
High degree of maneuverability in space through PBV and in terminal through terminal correction system.
F1 is a rocket, F2 has an SGV.

Which tests? we only saw that recent Ababeel test. The other 2 recent Fatah tests were conducted prior to recent skirmish

The ones I mentioned are yet to be made public. Batch Tests under severe jamming.

Moreover, all of our new missiles are developed for operational use under EMP threat. Though it does have a significant financial affect to that end.

The recent test wasn't Ababeel, it was Fatah 4 given the range of 700km and striking sea targets.... I believe

@Panzerkiel said it was abdali that successfully targeted the sea target in range of 700 km. Ababeel test would have been announced its the best missile we have.

As far as i can recall abbeel was 2200 km missile and the notam is for 900 how does this add up?

When missile test happens it does not need to declare notam of that range. Not always.

What is needed.

I have been saying this for really lonjg time. We need a cruise missile with minimum of 1500 KM range and better if it's some where between 2500 to 3000 both land version as well as naval version. We also need to come up with supersonic and hypersonic cruise missiles.
