The ‘fruits’ of the deal have started to appear…
For the first time in history, Pakistan will buy crude oil from the United States!
One million barrels will be loaded next month and will arrive in Pakistan by October.

Wow! Ignoring neighboring countries and buying oil from thousands of kilometers away?
Just imagine what kind of ‘wise leadership’ this country has fallen into the hands of.”
If you dig a bit deeper you will understand what's going on.........cynergico the largest oil refinery in Pakistan is importing one million barrels of crude on trail bases ( we did the same with Russian crude ) .....who owns cynergico ? Cynergico Mauritania is the 73% shareholder of cynergico Pakistan ( a loss making refinery with a share price of rs.7 ..I have burnt lots money in this company )......who is selling ? Vitol , one of the largest commodity trading company in the world based in Netherlands.....both Vitol and cynergico are not known for integrity..... it's a deal between two private enterprises . What are the stakes of the state of Pakistan in it ? Nothing....

Do you properly analyse everything he says ? How about his remark about Pakistan giving the US nothing but lies and deceit and giving a safe haven to terrorists the US was hunting in Afghanistan ?

And he was corrected by PMIK, got invited at the white house on Trump's invitation.

Maybe Modi can also correct Trump telling how great Indian economy is?

I don't care about any Oil or deal, but seeing Indians on Youtube pretending to be more powerful than America, and saying things like Asim Munir has fooled US President and his team, and how Balochistan is occupied and they won't let America touch their resources its just hilarious. The delusional fantasy and brain farts of India and its people has cross the point of no Return, these people after Modi took power started a Lie and they keep lying and now Indian people take that Lie as the ground reality and absolute Truth, totally hopeless nation.

@clutch mian,

You are aware of course that your govt has nominated DJT for the NPP in spite of his nefarious role in Gaza. Do you endorse your govts nomination?

The biggest win from all of this is normalizing relations with the US.

No more "do more" and accusations and verbal abuse/slander from the US/western media.

We are now back on track towards a more mutually respectful relationship that doesn't involve India.

Regarding trade, Pakistan right now doesn't offer much but it will in future.

Hopefully this will give the green light for US investors to pile in.

Pakistan now needs to fix its relationship with Britain. BBC news was aggressively interrogating the Pakistani diplomat live on air after Pakistan had many civilians killed in the attacks by India. No condolences offered.

Pakistanis open their homes and welcome in white english tourists when they travel to Pakistan and have civilizational ties spanning hundreds of years, this is not reciprocation. There is something more underhanded that needs to be fixed.

The United States has officially imposed a 19% tariff on imports from Pakistan, effective from August 7, 2025. Previously, the average U.S. tariff on Pakistani goods was around 3%, with most of Pakistan’s exports—especially textiles—already facing high rates under normal trade terms. Initially, Trump proposed a 29% tariff as part of his “Liberation Day” executive order, but after bilateral negotiations, the rate was reduced to 19%. This increase is expected to significantly impact Pakistan’s textile sector, which accounts for nearly 80% of its exports to the U.S.

@Cash gk

The duty on Pakistan is less than competitors. Not sure how it hurts your textile sector.

Regards
That’s a valid point, but it misses a key reality Pakistan’s textile exports were already struggling due to lack of duty-free access, unlike countries like Bangladesh or some African nations that enjoy preferential trade agreements with the U.S. Even before this new 19% tariff, Pakistani textiles faced duties of up to 17%. Now with an across-the-board 19% rate, the cost gap with competitors has widened even more, making Pakistan less competitive in price-sensitive U.S. markets. So yes, even if others also face duties, this hike hits Pakistan harder because we had no special exemptions to begin with.

Personally, I feel Trump is getting frustrated. Indians are playing smart.
