US to soon initiate Military support to Pakistan along with bi-lateral Trade growth, the Economist report

Pakistan can certainly maintain good diplomatic relations with both China and USA. However, claiming that Pakistan can freely import weapons and platforms from both countries—such as integrating AIM-120 missiles on J-10C, or PL-15 missiles on F-35—or suggesting that it could buy J-35 from China, F-35 from US, and KAAN from Turkey, or even assemble a new fighter jet by mixing components from the KAAN, J-35, and F-35, is comedy gold

So you have said something consequential without saying it explicitly

China has sunk cost in Pakistan.

Who is giving a counter offer worth it? They want to rule it in Asia
what sunk cost lol. CPEC is a failure, they'll get their money, beyond that, what does china have to lose

Literally no one made the claims you have stated

when will this rumour be put to rest lol.

Did the US sell us the largest export amraam order to fire against talibs?

Did the literal use of F-16s against India not disprove this?

yawn
This is a not a rumour SIr. I have heard the same from the serving generals of Pakistan. The only difference is that they say that when we need the F-16s we will use it and it doesn't matter what we give them in writing... citing an example of using F-16s in the past and still no eyebrows were raised by the united states... you can read the upgrade deal again, in the same news they talk about the restriction of using against India.

In my opinion, it doesn't really matter as the earliest batch of F-16s is 40 year old so its time to move on

If the objective of Pakistan's foreign policy is to militarily deter India, then it's an unrealistic goal—even if the entire world were to side with Pakistan, a war between India and Pakistan will still end in a repeat of 1971.
Pakistan is essentially India's strategic backyard, and no foreign military presence or alliance can outmatch the Indian military within that region.

of course everyone knows that and no Pakistani made such claims.

Pakistan has a proven track record of using both American and Chinese technology but they were always used as separate platforms.

it does because if the EUA was violated the US would have stopped support, which they didnt.

I pitch one question to anyone who says f16s cant be used against India:

Who were the 500 amraams for?

nobody said any of this btw

Strategic sunk costs

It's a complete misnomer to say dollars are not deployed without strategic import

That's just a manifestation

In any case, china helped Pak get nukes

That is all that need to be said

Like the recent war you fought and did so well at?
Go away.

Never seen a country lose 6 planes in it's "strategic backyard" before.....

@r3alist bro

China has sunk cost in Pakistan.

Exactly, it is sunk cost. Gone.

Who is giving a counter offer worth it?

USA. They can give you what you need and what PRC won't or can't give you- market for your exports, destination for your surplus manpower ( aka remittances), funding through controlled institutions like IMF/WB.

Regards

China worked in symbiosis to put fear and psychological submission into your air force.

Via Pakistan.

And it's just the start of the journey

Hopefully your 4th gen gets off the ground.

It is just sheer stupidity and logic reasoning of people on both sides of the indo pak border who claim that pakistan cannot use F-16s against India.

Well, for once, the moment India fires even a small projectile, Pakistan can start using F-16s against all targets in self defense. So the end user agreement is basically a paper T&C to satisfy the Indian lobby at that time. In reality it really doesn't even matter 1%

Opening salvos of Pakistan will be with non-US weapons anyway, as seen in recent 4 days conflict.

Hope PAF gets the V kits, even if for just 2 squadrons....it will really really boost the 100km+ bvr capable fighter squadrons.

Pakistan must upgrade existing F-16 in our fleet to Block 72. We spent lot of money on them and they could be museum display in a decade. Iraq was also trying selling its F-16 to Pakistan now we can move ahead with that if it is still feasible. The contract for Turkish ATAK T129 helicopter with US LHTEC CTS800-4A turboshaft engines could also be revived.
