I prefer comparing it to Musharraf. Musharraf was good, regardless if he wasn't democratic. I don't really care about democracy, it's one of many political systems and it doesn't really suit Pakistan anyway.

In agrarian, tribal, divided societies you need an authority that can bring order by force rather than constant squabbling.
 
Well Black Money , illicit money is always made clean by acquiring land and property

The people who are quickly jumping to buy Bahria Town Land / Property
are actually people who were hiding the wealth in their basements

They can further clean the money by selling this property in near future and transferring it out of Pakistan , with a clean chit , which will show they acquired their black money from "Sale of Property"

Core Issue:
Land was acquired from Sindh Government, who charged an estimated land price , based on the following facts

  1. It was not farming land
  2. There was no water source
  3. There were no sewage lines
  4. There were no telecom lines
  5. It was rocky , barren mud soil
  6. It was deemed worthless Land , no one wanted
  7. No water storage dam
  8. Middle of no where land

Typically when a Land is categories as In-inhabitable zone , it is typically attained at lower rate , because you need to invest tremendous amount of money in order to make it livable

The Land was bought based on ground realities that existed 15-18 years ago.

You can't charge somoene new "Price" for land after 18 years after they invested billions USD to develop the land

Secondary Issue: (18 year later)
A fine was imposed by Court which made no sense , if he bought land at favourable rate (18 year ago) why should he pay a fine? For Land which was not livable ? Claim was made now that Bahria Town Residential Project are profitable success , they need to pay Government more ??? Wtf moment

Third Issue : (18 year later)
Malik Riaz CEO of Bahria Town, was being asked to testify against Imran Khan , and testify that Imran Khan and his wife got donated land from him for personal gain.

Reality is the Land was "Donated" on behalf of Bahria Town for a University for Poor Students" , the transfer was made under a Trust account which was setup for purpose of University setup

Real Estate projects world wide donate for public projects like , hospitals , schools and community all over globe

In Pakistan , it is a tradition people like to "Steal" or Take ownership of successful business or Venture , by force

This Tradition of "Stealing" is common in Villages where one group is stealing agricultural land from another villager and they use thugs to harass neighbouring villages, same mentality is now present in Government level


A) Solar park Chinese built "Qaid-e-Azam Solar Park" built with Loan
after it was 100% functional , it was sold off to some politician in Punjab
for Marginal cost , they claimed they can't find labor to clean the dust on
Solar panel , this was a massive electricity generating project. 250-500 Million USD project , sold to some local Politician for few million USD
  • 99% of debt incurred for taking loan is transferred to Internal Debt
  • People of Pakistan are left paying debt
  • Profits are enjoyed by some local Politician in Punjab (Clean Money)

B) Pakistan Steeles (State owned) was a big steel producer but it was made dysfunctional and people opened competitive private Mills they remained profitable

c) PIA a successful company , always full
  • Accounting always shows it none profitable due to free tickets granted to Politicians and Federal workers 8-9 free tickets and countless tickets to visit Europe
  • Over hiring
  • Now talk of transferring all "Debt" to People of Pakistan and selling company with planes to investor who inherits 0% debt Planes worth 10 Billion Dollar to 15 billion dollar
  • Billions of Dollar worth of Land across globe including hotels in New York always used as Bargaining chip

d) Power plants are given incentive that they will get 100% Payment from Government of Pakistan even if they produce 30% electricity , deals signed up till 2030
  • Who inherits this debt ?? Of course Pakistani People
  • We have 222 Billion USD dollar Debt , 133 Billion USD is internal debt
  • This internal Debt is high because of these type of Business deals with Private Power plants


Don't be surprised , if the DAM projects for water will be privatized to Politicians , and debt transferred to Pakistani Budget

This is why I've turned against the PTI and Imran Khan. Their supporters in the US and West have made me realized that they are cult worshipers. He couldn't stop thinking about himself for a moment and get on the same page with the mil-establishment, take his licks and come back later.

I dont give af about democracy or all that other sh*t peddle by White-washed Pakistanis. Its juice-box psy-op to push this destructive ideology into Islamic nations. I want efficiency. The events of May 7th has shown me that I very much prefer a militaristic Pakistan that can manage potentional dissenters in a clever way than what the Iranians and Iraqis have done (failures). Keep your friends closer but your enemy closer and no plays a better game than the Mil establishment. I was a rabid military hater after the NCV of 2022, but watching the military performed efficiently in gelding the Indians and quite grudingly good foreign polcy and strategy tells me that they really smart people behind the scene advising them. I'm sorry but Pakistan isn't one homogenous nation. it has about 20+ ethnicities that the current system corrupt as it is, only can manage. It can fall apart swiftly but hasn't.

The pretext for Bahria Town in Pakistan was that the CEO wanted to build communities like he built in Middle East in Pakistan , using same Engineering principle and strict control on handing over the property ownership on time to Oversea Pakistanis

  • Near Karachi

This is exactly what people don't understand. Democracy is merely one system of many but these cultists have turned it into a religion to worship alongside their messiah who they treat as a prophet.

The ONLY thing that matters is who is more competent & efficient, and does the best job. We need industrialisation, technology, infrastructure development, sociocultural stability and elimination of terrorism. Whoever does it best deserves the seat.

Would you rather be in China who they tell you is authoritarian with the most rapid historic growth witnessed or live in the "largest democracy" known as India? These democracy worshippers themselves would choose China.

The fact is that every country needs to decide what performs best in their own local context, and for Pakistan with a majority illiterate, often jahil and extremist population that is tribally divided, democracy is inefficient and is just 24/7 squabbling with nothing getting done.

Pakistan NEEDS a competent and intelligent central authority that can provide guidance and a stick. This doesn't mean the military are angels, there is tons of room for improvement, but they are demonstrably more competent than the messiah who thinks screaming like a donkey is strength and that ass-licking pariahs like Iran or Afghanistan is peak diplomacy, while bowing down to terrorists. He has zero idea of how to run a challenging state like Pakistan, he thinks it's his personal failed lefto-Islamist pet project.

Real estate is the most low effort, least knowledge intensive sector out there. It just requires capital and the rest you hire European firms abroad to do all the heavy lifting. It's the origin of rent seeking.
