Indians don't like their elderly and are murdering them,
This old lady died of dehydration the following evening after baking in the 45 C heat . The police took her to the trauma center after 2O hours lying on the street but she didn't survive.

BJP is only famous in North India. South India has it's own dynamics.

It's not as if the South is united.
1. The Telugu speakers of the state of Andhra split into Telengana and Andhra after a bloody agitation by the Telengana people. Within the Andhra region there are the Kappus vs Khamma caste community divides,
2. The Kanadigas of Karnataka are divided on:
(a) Vokalligas vs Lingayats
(b) Tulu vs South Canara
(c) All Kannadigas against Tamils
3. The Telugus, Tamils, Kannadigas hate each other. It's not just people to people hatred but the state (provincial) governments hate each other too, particularly on the basis of water sharing disputes with violence against each other's communities encouraged and armed state militias in a military confrontation on critical water control points like dams and reservoirs.
4. The Tamil situation is the most interesting where both the provincial ruling and opposition parties firmly against the use of the National Language Hindi and even more significant have been in collusion with the LTTE separatist militants of Sri Lanka funding and arming them, The LTTE was eventually defeated by the Sri Lankan government but not before the militants assassinated ex-Prime Minster Rajeev Gandhi during his election campaign. The killers were arrested and convicted but being Tamil "heroes " were released by the provincial government.
4. The outlier is the state of Kerala which is so further South that it is almost autonomous. Kerala survives on manpower export mainly to the GCC and its provincial labor ministers are in direct communication with the governments of the GCC countries over and above the Central Ministry of Labor and Human Resources

PPP means something. I would not totally discount it.

Some services especially labor dependent cost different amounts in different societies. The key ones are housing, healthcare and education. It may cost someone in India a lot less money to have the same outcomes in housing, healthcare and education compared to USA.

Now the cost of iPhone, laptop or Boeing 737 is the same whether it is USA or India.

I would not use it to rank billionaires

We don't value dollar-currency exchange based comparison. We have news that the US$ is found 'stable' below Yuan value on international market, for last few years. The US-West lying about their true currency values 👎

The PPP comparison of billionaire of different countries state how many people you employ and how much resources you own. How much indirect taxes these billionaire generate in their respective countries, and how much help they receive from the government to maintain their private industries.

I don't know what to tell you.

I also used to believe this when I was a little kid, before I found out what goes on in upper middle class society in India, Pakistan, etc.

We do find immigrant professional seeking jobs back home in Asia -Africa, worried for future of their kids, for retirement plan.....🕳️

The culture background of locals of western countries is too different to adopt.
You will be left with only one option, that is to back home 🕳️

PPP does not represents true wealth or purchasing power but assumes that goods and services in all countries have same costs as in the US which is nonsense. An Indian billionaire might have greater purchasing power and options in Mumbai than in New York City if his wealth is converted into dollars for real. The IMF came up with the PPP metric to appease inferiority complex of developing countries.

That said, Mumbai shows impressive growth in wealth. So credit where due.

Good day gentlemen . We find Mumbai at number one in Asia Pacific, leaving the Beijing on second place. The Delhi does loose to Shanghai and match with Moscow.
The number of Hong Kong is also noticed.
Here, how about Singapore and Kualumpur, Jarkart's scores? How we find Tehran in this field? 🕳️

Worth mentioning, the Tokyo and Seol are too poor 👎

If you need a job in India upon relocation after having lived out west for a while, then there are issues with your life choices/ judgement more than anything else……..😝

Any mofo who’s worked in the US a decade or more should have saved at least a mill or more, considering most participants here come from decent highly educated family backgrounds

So, INMO unless you have made poor choices in life……..there’s no need to find work as a middle aged retiree in India.

Term deposits averaging upto 7% annually. Who da hell would want to work unless like I said, yous a dummy.

@Sharma Ji

Life of India and West are two different aspects. It's all the life security and being on yourself, why you back your native place.
They don't want retirement in west 🙂

Inspired by their neighbours, Bhartis too have started discovering trillion-dollar mineral reserves

Geologists confirmed significant gold reserves in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, spanning 100 hectares, including copper and other metals, potentially reshaping the region's economy

In a potentially game-changing discovery, geologists have confirmed the presence of significant gold reserves deep beneath the surface in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district. The findings come after years of exploration and sampling in the Mahangwa Kewalri region of Sihora tehsil, an area already known for its rich deposits of iron and manganese. According to preliminary survey data, the gold deposits are spread across an estimated 100 hectares, and experts believe the quantity could run into lakhs of tonnes. If fully confirmed, this would place Jabalpur among the most mineral-rich zones in India and could dramatically reshape the region’s economic future.

The breakthrough comes from an extensive geological survey conducted by a team from the Regional Office of the Department of Geology and Mineral Resources. The team carried out soil sampling across Mahangwa Kewalri and confirmed the presence of not just gold, but also copper and other valuable metals through chemical analysis. "The evidence is conclusive," said a senior official from the department, adding, "The chemical tests confirm substantial traces of gold, along with copper and other precious minerals. This could be one of the most important mineral discoveries in central India in recent years.

The excitement is not new to the region. Years ago, signs of gold had also emerged from neighbouring Katni district. While those early indicators lacked strong confirmation at the time, the current discovery in Jabalpur seems to support and strengthen earlier hypotheses. With gold now found in both Katni and Jabalpur, the region is attracting renewed interest from mining and geological experts.

Jabalpur, long associated with iron ore and mineral exports, could see its profile rise significantly. Already home to 42 operational mines extracting iron, manganese, laterite, limestone, and silica sand, the district has built a reputation for contributing to India’s mineral economy. Much of its iron is exported internationally, including to China. Now, with gold entering the picture, the region may see a new wave of industrial investment. "What makes this find even more viable," said a state official, “is that mining infrastructure is already in place. The area has been explored and worked on for years. Tapping into the newly confirmed gold reserves will require relatively lower investment than starting from scratch.

The next phase will involve deeper exploratory work to establish the full extent and viability of mining the gold deposits. If the reserves prove economically feasible, commercial extraction could begin in the near future, adding a new chapter to Madhya Pradesh’s mining legacy. Officials believe that with careful planning, this discovery could bring a significant boost to local employment, state revenue, and possibly even national gold reserves—marking a rare win for India’s mineral exploration efforts

Is it the job of scientists to discover gold reserves

We are Pakistanis, we are happy for you if this news isn't fake like that 5 jets and 1 AWACS down by your air chief.

I hope this Gold is extracted soon so you won't have to ask anyone for 10 million jobs or another $ 3.5 trillion to grow your economy, and then be embarrassed by Trump on global media. We would like a stable and prosperous India and hopefully, with stability, eventually we can hope to make you a part of the CPEC also. Well wishes (y)
