Turkey Set to Ratify Military Agreements with Balkan Countries Surrounding Greece

Turkey is set to ratify military framework agreements signed with three Balkan nations neighboring Greece: Albania, North Macedonia, and Kosovo.

The source lacks reliability as it exaggerates our engagement, yet it is indeed accurate that a new generation of politicians in the Balkans no longer fears maintaining very close ties with Türkiye. Take the Bulgarian-Turkish relations as an example. They are quite intriguing and often go unnoticed, even by experts, but Sofia and Ankara are basically working together on all relevant issues.

I was well aware of that.

Like in the Netherlands, in every Turkish pub works a sexy Bulgarian waitress and a lot of Turkish men i know personally divorced their Turkish wifes and took Bulgarian wifes.

There is a certain quality difference even from the roads.
Asphalt quality improve when entering Türkiye from Greece

Coming from Germany, the road quality in the Balkan countries is very bad, we understand this when we enter Turkiye

Even though the Balkan countries like Greece , Bulgaria , Romania were underdeveloped, they joined the European Union simply because it was a Christian alliance.

Turkiye is better than Greece , Bulgaria , Romania in every field

We reduced the ratio of general government debt to national income to 24.7% , far beyond the Maastricht Criteria. (The Maastricht Criteria is 60%)

No,they joined because there was big money packs to squander between politicians, while developing the country slowly and giving people an illusion of success for said politicians.

All of it or just the western part, coastal areas and a few big cities? ;)

President ERDOGAN spent over $1 trillion to modernize whole Turkiye in the last 20 years

He is right, Bulgaria feels like you're playing a Soviet era game 😆
Never been there, but I know they're full of corruption and probably still behind in infastracture(still not like Albania probably)

Serbia has been heavily armed in recent years, and is now the strongest militarily state in the Western Balkans. Neighboring countries are worried about Belgrade's expansionist intentions.

I think they might be planning something. I don't know whether its something in Kosovo or Bosnia though.

Whats of particular note is that the people supplying them are the French and Israelis. You would expect China, but its different from that.

Kosovo, Albania and Bosnia should look to form some sort of Alliance/understanding. Turkey should also play a more significant support role IMO. Allies in the Balkans need to be shored up.

If this was some 15-20 years ago,I'd say they want to take back Kosovo. But with the governments they've had the last 10 years with Vucic,I don't think they're planning anything. Most Serbs I know, are disappointed or fed up with him and his party.
