01 kill is attributed to HQ9 HIMAD.
Whether its Heron or one of fighters. I think it has to be Heron as interestingly no one from AD operating HIMAD got an SJ -- So one each probably.

my problem is at start even on Briefing by AVM. Aurangzaib kills were marked in Blue others in Green two blue kills were 1 x IAI Heron TP and other was 1 x MiG-29UPG scrambled from Udhampur AFB


3 x Rafale, 1 x Su-30MKI were shot down by PAF fighters (Painted Green)


That makes 4 x Kills by PAF Fighters, 2 x Kills by PAF HQ-9B

Then he comes out in next press briefing adds 1 more kill to PAF fighters

5 x Kills to PAF Fighters, 2 x Kills by PAF HQ-9B

that is 6 x Fighters, 1 x MALE/HALE Drone

now how come No.15 Sqn 4 x Pilots are awarded Sitara-e-Jurrat , where is the 5th killer?

No matter the outcome this time around, we should never underestimate the other side. Overconfidence would be at our own peril.

PAF needs to move at war footing to plug the gaps and enhance capabilities. Hopefully AHQ is fully alive to the needs to address gaps and enhance capabilities for any future eventuality.

The other side too has good pilots and operators. We mustn't forget the 1965 to 1971 evolution on the Indian side post the reverses suffered by them in 1965. Our circumstances were different in 1971, but IAF plugged a lot of their gaps. Unfortunately Pakistan was under sanctions which affected us more than the IAF.

You are right. What needs immediate attention is Air Defense upgradation and enchancement urgently.

Zero chance of Aerial battle with IAF. They have nothing to counter PL15 range and they will not fly 200km of the border. The only thing they will do is launch salvos of missiles....air launched and ground based which makes your job easier and tough......easier because you need to simply procure more Medium and long range systems and more radars and integrating them which you already know and operate well. Tough because it will cost immediate money.

2 JF-17 jockeys took out the S400s.
6 Pilots from No 15 are credited with 6 kills.
Leaves 1 aircraft and I UAV taken out by SAMs.

Hi, can you put down the final count/tally here?

Which system shot which IAF jet/drone and by which sqd pilot.

S-400 by JF BLK III is clear. But confusion is over J-10 and HQ9 kills.

Shocking that so many awards can be handed out to what was such an complete failure as an operation by the Indians. There is no way for India to sugar coat this in anyway at all. Having this fake awards doesn't help them at all, given the "seniority" of those awarded awards!!! I do wonder when they will have "their" award ceremony, will be quite a joke.
