8 Pakistan Air Force Officers Awarded Sitara =e-Jurat Medals

Pretty much anyone anywhere in the world with even a single functioning brain cell knows it was all IAF jets shot down.......Trump is playing because his intelligence has already given him the credible evidence. Pretty sure NRO/CIA did an over fly of the shot down locations and have hi res imagery of the wreckage..........he is just playing and piss off India....because he is pissed off at Modi barking again and again that ceasefire was done by Pakistan and India without US intervention.

If anything, it just keeps on getting more embarrassing for Indians.....

For sure, and I am loving it

If he mentions indians - He will set a billion+ a** on fire - destroy credibility of IAF and political image of Modi - it will take the India-US relations to an all time low perhaps.
That could trigger a political upheaval in india as well.

howcome i don't see any female pilot names in the awards lists? In the pic of the PAF from May we can see them female pilots in the picture
just wondering if they're part of the J10C and JF17B3 squadrons or not?

No love for the eyes in the sky boys? nothing for EW? :(
If recommended, the would be awarded commendation cards, and other medals (Tamgha-e-jurrat, imtiazi-sanad etc.). There is a broader list that is published for all awardees. Not all are presidential awardees. Most others would be awarded by their own chain of command.

GoP awarded the pilots that took part in the actual shoot-downs.

By the way, the tie is back for Army officers as part of their service dress. Air Force was first to revert back to the tie and the Army is following suit.

Is the overcoat still khaki or has it returned to dark brown or some charcoal shade?

Still khaki for summer. It remains to be seen what happens for the winter service dress. That used to be a darker hue in the past (till Gen Aslam Beg's tenure).
In order to cut kit expenses, khaki has been used year round.
Even in the PMA, the woolen Blue Patrols were replaced with a lighter fabric and since the passing-out only happens in the warmer seasons, there is no plan to re-introduce the woolen BPs. It's a pity because the original BPs with cross-belt (for appointment holders) were unmatched in the way they looked.
