He was not Pakistani, but Marines violated sovereign Pakistani airspace , took him out along with some civilians and were back in Afghanistan before the Pakistani air force could scramble jets to intercept them.

Final nail in the coffin? May war with Pakistan ended all delusions Americans had about India taking on China.

The problem here for India? USA have decided they will take care of China directly and want to cut India in size by propping up Pakistan and Bangladesh economically and militarily to maintain balance in south asia. Going back to 1950-1960's era.

This is disastrous for India. Russia isn't Soviet Union. China is now super power. US-China aiding Pakistan and Bangladesh against India is bad news.

That's before 15 August 2021, when safety of the NATO forces was in Pakistan's hand.

Post 15 August 2021, they don't need India to keep pressure on Pakistan. But India attacked Pakistan anyway unprovoked on 7 May 2025 and the Pentagon/CIA didn't like it.

The United States was expecting India to attack China if anything, that's why they were stroking your tail between 11 September 2001 and 15 August 2021, instead you attacked Pakistan and thought that would compensate for not attacking China.

You guys really thought you could fool the Americans and the Europeans after 15 August 2021 and continue to live off their financial markets.

Let's see over the coming weeks, months and years, how India's $689 billion in foreign reserves buffer against India's $736 billion external debt which is part of the national debt that has ballooned to $3.1 trillion while India is still severely underdeveloped. 😱

It wouldn't be the first time India used China to curry favour from the west.

On Nov 19, 1962, President Kennedy received an extraordinary letter from PM Nehru asking for 350 American combat aircrafts and crews to be sent to India to fight China. The CIA told Kennedy that India was 'urgently willing' to 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐔𝐒 𝐀𝐢𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐬 to stop China's attack. The Chinese attack on India that began in October 1962 inflicted major casualties on the poorly equipped and badly led Indian army and resulted in China's occupation of 14,500 square miles of territory claimed by India in Kashmir called Aksai Chin or the desert of white stones.So grave was the defeat that Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru was compelled to ask Kennedy for “immediate American military aid to India, including an airlift of infantry weapons and light equipment for troops fighting on the border, and even American piloted transportation planes, and he had authorized a formal request to Washington for consideration of a joint air defense, involving American air cover for Indian cities to free India's air force for tactical raids against the Chinese.
