Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Terrorism Watch

How many TTP/ISKp fighters have been killed so far in Op that was launched around 10 days ago? Is it just me or the info really slim on the bajaur issue

Are TTP allied with ISKP? ISKP call all Taliban affiliates murdad kaffirs. The IEA executes them on the spot if caught, no trial.

Not openly at least but i wouldn’t be surprised if there are TTP factions or elements allied or sympathetic to iskp. A lot of salafis in TTP. Same for Taliban.

Lots of fighters who go back and forth without consequences. Reasons for switching is often tribal, loyalty (to individual commanders) related rather than ideological.

That is a smokescreen.

All the money goes through the Taliban and they distribute funds and weapons to all groups that are loyal to them.

They have created a franchise of proxies through Indian money :ROFLMAO: This was established through Karzai and Taliban maintained it unofficially controlling flow of funds which is why since their takeover, attacks in Pakistan have dramatically spiked.

ISISK and IEA (Afghan Taliban and ally militants) have become enemies since Nato withdrawal. TTP is full of pro Taliban groups and some pro ISISK groups but they're not allies with ISISK, they are allies of IEA. Taliban fears if they attack TTP and make enemy of them, they will then join ISISK and harm Taliban interests.

Currently Taliban is facing big war with ISISK, the issue is serious since Saudi Arabia has banned Talighi Jamaat, declared it as a gateway to terrorism, Taliban is return banned Salafism, declared Hanafi fiqh as state law with rights to shia minority, they claim salafism breeds ISIS etc. ISISK also attacked many pro Taliban organisations in Pakistan such as JUIF.

A convoy got hit by an IED, did not they sweep the route beforehand? When are we ever going to correct these repeated mistakes? I guess they have stopped feeling responsibility for loss of their soldiers' lives.

Innalillahi wa inna alai hi rajaoun. All the more important to press IEA to clamp down on the TTP fitna if they expect economic benefits from Pakistan/China.
China is already giving significant economic benefits to IEA. It is not going to stop that because Pakistan asked it to.

Yes good points. I thought about this as well.

China is looking at CPEC's success. For as long as TTP plays spoilers at the behest of their minders, China has an interest in throttling its activities down.

CPEC is a decade old. China has done nothing in this period to decrease the activities of the TTP.

90% of pigs out of 50 killed were afghanis.

Ok, you must know better.
In this case, rather than knowing, it is of not knowing. I have no knowledge of any instance where China acted to dissuade TTP to help protect its interest in CPEC. If you do, you can point it out here.
