And Greece still doesn't have F-35s. We are just talking on theories.KAAN is yearS from being operationnal.
I say, in a Kızılelma vs F-35 situation, Kızılelma will have no chance. Others defending the opposite view.

There is a problem with this research paper.
They made a comparison between KAAN's radar and F-35's radar.

Can an air-to-air missile be launched from another aircraft using an aircraft's radar?
It's possible with T-LINK
T-LINK, the national tactical data-link system developed by ASELSAN, has made Turkiye one of only 7 countries capable of producing in this field.

KIZILELMA will use AEWC and KAAN's AESA Radar to fire 185+ km GOKBORA air to air Missiles to hunt F-35 , RAFALE and F-16V
RAFALE and F-16V have no any chance to survive against the KIZILELMA
Even one on one

Israel can not do it
India can not do it
France can not do it
Greece can not do it
Pakistan Air Force shot down RAFALE from 200 km away
Thanks to AEWC + Link-17 data link + PL-15 long range air to air missile

A submarine launched air defense missile, wishful?![]()

Wishfully an unmanned oneThe concept has been explored by the germans, in terms of technical capacity, Turkey is certainly capable of building it. Turkey has build Submarine launched Cruise Missiles(SLCMs) and it has Long Range Air to Air and Surface to Air missiles which are good candidates to modify for Submarine launch.

Have Submarine-Launched Anti-Aircraft Missiles Finally Come Of Age?
A submarine that can fire back at an aircraft hunting it certainly sounds intriguing, but is such a capability really relevant?www.twz.com
It gets launched via the same mechanism that Cruise missiles get launched from submarines.
The main issue is guidance and data link. The Missile would likely have to have its own AESA seeker, as it can't be guided by the submarine. Or a 2 way Data link to get updates from AWACS on general location.
In many ways, its quite brilliant, b/c there is no way the submarine gets detected by the aircraft unless its an anti submarine warfare aircraft, and even if it is, thats not an issue if you stay out of detection range and fire then retreat.
It has a lower probability of kill compared to something fired from a platform that has its own radar, b/c its relying on 3rd platforms like AWACS or its own limited sensor which can be jammed or spoofed, but its still quite useful.
Just remembered how shallow people used to think here. I have no doubt that they still do.Baykar shows KIZILELMA with IRST and EOTS
