Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

The suicide drones of the Yemeni forces are excelling in smashing the jamming systems and surveillance cameras of the Houthis' militias on the Al-Jawf front.

The militias deployed, through foreign experts, cameras and jamming devices to protect their sites and fronts from any attack.

I promised myself that I would stop wasting time on this forum, where hardly any Arab users are present. After all, it is hard to take a bunch of largely clueless, Arabized non-Arabs discussing internal Arab affairs seriously. Nevertheless, I am very happy to see that the gloves are finally off.

The Houthi terrorist cult and their Arabized Majoosi sponsors will, for lack of a better word, eventually be defeated and removed from Yemen.

Only Yemen's status as a fellow Arab Muslim nation and neighbour has prevented the RSAF, let alone other branches of the military, from turning all areas of Yemen temporarily occupied by the Houthi terrorist cult into one huge parking lot.

The largely ineffective Houthi terrorist cult's firecrackers, aimed at the by far largest and richest nation in the Middle East (KSA), have virtually no consequences for KSA beyond causing temporary annoyance.

Case in point:

The leadership should now decisively support the legitimate Yemeni army and government, along with all allied factions, against the Houthi terrorist cult's fifth columnists and traitors until they are defeated or otherwise neutralised. If necessary, deploy ground forces in large numbers, despite the dangers this entails and the Yemeni predisposition to switching sides and betraying their allies.

If the leadership were bold, it should also annex Hadhramaut to KSA, as at least 99% of the local population would give their right arm for such an outcome. This would solve a lot of potential problems.

The concept of Yemen as a unified nation-state within its current borders dates back only to 1990. The experiment has proved to be a tremendous failure. The last time all of Yemen was fully united was under Arab empires and caliphates originating in what is now KSA, primarily the Hijaz.

In any case, the eventual unification of Arabia is inevitable from a long-term perspective. In an ideal world the likes of UAE would follow suit in the not too distant future.

But the current status quo is partly the leadership's responsibility, including that of MBS. KSA and the Yemeni government had ample opportunities to defeat the Houthi terrorist cult before COVID-19, but concerns about humanitarian issues and other considerations prevented the capture of the last port under Houthi terrorist cult control (Al-Hudaydah) at the time.

This was compounded by baseless and false accusations of an alleged genocide, which the Arabized Majoosis in this thread are parroting as well as Houthi terrorist cultists.

The situation would likely have been different today if that had the case.

Another factor was the aversion to losing Saudi Arabian soldiers and civilians in the southern border regions, as well as the leadership's focus on domestic development through Saudi Vision 2030, which has been a considerable success by almost every objective measure.

This, in turn, is related to internal Saudi Arabian dynamics, the historical policies of the House of Saud, and its preference for diplomacy.

The broader regional context at the time must also be considered, including the ongoing civil wars to the north (Syria and Iraq), the threat posed by ISIS, and other destabilizing elements.

Finally, there is the elephant in the room: Abu Dhabi's betrayal and its undermining of a unified front in Yemen, which indirectly provided substantial assistance to the Houthi terrorist cult.

However, nowadays, there should no longer be any excuses. The Houthi terrorist cult needs to be defeated once and for all for the sake of Yemen, the Yemeni people, and KSA, as we cannot, even in a perfect world, afford to have a permanently failed state along our nearly 2,000 km-long southern border.

No doubt in my mind that KSA has been helping Ukraine target Russian oil and gas facilities as well. The Russians were always our enemies and they are still butthurt that just a few 1000 Saudi Arabian mujahideen managed to kill 1000's of Russian soldiers in Chechnya, Dagestan and Caucasus, let alone in Afghanistan in the 1980's. Same lot that has killed millions of Muslims (Caucasian Muslims and mostly Turkic Muslims but also untold numbers of Iranian Muslims). Many of the most diabolical Israeli Zionists are also Russian Jews. The Putin regime and his mostly Jewish oligarchy is also a pro-Zionist regime by all accounts. Luckily Muslim demographics in Russia are on the rise and eventually Muslims will yield significant influence and power in Russia.

As a side note; Arab empires and caliphates conquered areas of modern-day Southern Russia and the Caucasus and captured, bought and employed probably millions of Slavic people as literal slaves.

To this day Russian pros***** are a common commodity in certain GCC capitals and cities without mentioning them by name here.

Indications that KSA has begun using ballistic missiles to target the Houthi terrorist cultists. I think that targeting Houthi terrorist cult gatherings and parades should be implemented as soon as possible. Potentially razing the Houthi terrorist cult headquarter and stronghold (SAADA) to the ground as well after giving evacuation notices to civilians occupied by the Houthi terrorist cult.

We should follow the Israeli playbook against our enemies. The Houthi terrorist cult should be openly declared as non-Muslims and banned from any Hajj and Umrah. Jihad should be declared and a Muslim foreign legion should be implemented. Millions of volunteers would potentially join just from Muslim Northern Nigeria alone. Armed and trained and with loyalty to the land of the Two Holy Mosques and in return they will get all the benefits of citizens. Citizenship could be passed to the second generation if loyalty is proven. Many nations from the US to France have been doing that for decades if not centuries in the case of France.

Diplomacy etc. is a waste of time. The Houthi terrorist cult is also threatening global trade. Nobody would cry even 1/100 as much as they did prior to COVID-19.

Nobody largely cared about civilian casualties when ISIS was defeated in Iraq and Syria. It is unfortunate but this is all the fault of the Yemenis themselves. They have turned Yemen into a failed state since 1990 and have been killing each other in numerous successive civil wars. KSA as a country with a 2000 km long border with Yemen cannot afford to look passively. Let alone given that some of our largest population centers are located close to the Yemeni border. Let alone allow our enemies (Arabized Majoosi Khomeinist regime of Iran) to support enemies on our border.

The solution is rather simple and the current leadership should make the right decisions and there is enormous popular consensus to end the Houthi terrorist cult menace with decisive steps with or without allies.

But fair to say that KSA's political influence has once again come into full light given the large amount of important nations that are willing to support KSA politically and at times militarily.

But regardless of the above, the Yemenis themselves need to take the leadership role and that seems to be the case of late given the progress of the Yemeni government and a somewhat unified stance against the Houthi terrorist cult.

There is also a limit to how long the Yemenis living under Houthi terrorist cult occupation can accept misery, poverty, lack of a future etc. while their brethren just across the border in KSA live a life that they cannot even imagine in their wildest fantasy. Eventually they will rise up whenever given the opportunity and deal with their occupiers and tormenters..

EDIT: Just to make it clear for the stupidest of anti-Arabs and anti-KSA trolls on this forum, no I am purely talking about Houthi terrorist cultists and in particular leadership. Many if not most of the Houthi terrorist cult foot soldiers are ignorant and illiterate people (sometimes even children) forcibly conscripted to their cult.

As I wrote in the beginning, if KSA wanted, it could turn all of Yemen into a parking lot ages ago. KSA has always been the economic lifeline of Yemen and to this day KSA hosts more Yemenis than any other country on earth. There is also no need to even mention the close historical, people to people, geographical, ethnic, linguistic, religious etc. ties between the peoples and countries. A 30 year old terrorist cult (Houthi terrorist cult) is not going to change this nor do their cult beliefs have anything to do with traditional Zaydism - which is also followed by a minority of Saudi Arabians in the southern parts of the country.

As a side note for the history buffs here, the actual Northern Yemeni royal family (Zaydis) - live in KSA after they were exiled to KSA in 1970. Members live in KSA and UK to this day. The last king/Imam was buried in Madinah in 1996. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_al-Badr The 30 year old Houthi terrorist cult and Houthi clan (that ironically openly and proudly claims Hashemite Hejazi ancestry from modern-day KSA - no less - the same country that they are obsessed about - sounds similar to certain figureheads in Iran) tries to steal and hijack Zaydi history that they have nothing to do with as well as their dubious origins at best.

Needless to say that Northern Yemen (Zaydi ruled) was an ally of KSA and relations were always cordial even after the republican era (post-1970) when Yemen was dominated by Zaydis. So the idea that sect here (other than the Houthi terrorist cult being a certified cult with cult beliefs that nobody can dispute) is relevant is an illusion created by the usual suspects.

Same with the nonsense of KSA having conquered imaginary "Yemeni land" back in 1932.

Summary of what happened south of #Taiz in Al-Shaqb, Kahlan, Al-Sanamat, and Al-Sarm south of Taiz ..

- For days, the militias have been mobilizing and preparing for an attack that is the fiercest aimed at controlling Sabir Mountain.

- They launched a fierce attack towards Kahlan and the valleys between Kahlan and Al-Sanamat with the aim of encircling Al-Shaqb, Al-Sarm, Kahlan, and Al-Sanamat.

- The army allowed the militias to infiltrate until they approached Al-Shaqb, then moved against them, securing all surrounding positions from Al-Shaqb to the north, Kahlan and its mountains to the east, the Al-Sanamat ridge to the west, and air forces intervened effectively, trapping the militias in a #deadly trap.

- The Houthi militias resisted for more than eight hours, during which they suffered heavy human losses and were forced to withdraw from all areas to outside Kahlan.- The militias suffered heavy losses, while two army members from the Kahlan front's backbone and his brother were martyred—may God have mercy on them—and a number of wounded...

43 covenants and agreements violated by the Houthi militia over 18 years, from the Saada wars and Damaj and Iman truces, to the Peace and Partnership Agreement, the Stockholm Agreement, and the UN-brokered ceasefire. These infographics, prepared by activists, illustrate how the violation of commitments was accompanied by the militia's expansion, reaching control over Sana'a and vast areas of the country.
