I’m very clear on this — no territorial changes are possible now. The only way that could happen is through war, and in the nuclear age, no one is likely to go that far.
I still believe China and India are managing reasonably well. They have working relationships and, for the most part, are not challenging each other’s territories. The real friction lies at the political level. That’s still better than having no relationship at all.
This is why I often say Pakistan needs to learn how to deal with neighbors even when disputes exist and china is a big example here.Instead, Pakistan remains fixated on Kashmir. India tried to build better relations, but since Pakistan refused to move beyond Kashmir, India shifted to saying it would only talk about terrorism. When Pakistan showed no interest in that, talks broke down completely.
Now Pakistan says it wants dialogue, but India sees nothing new to discuss — only the same point repeated over and over.
India will not going to discuss now on kashmir... Pakistan is just stuck with kashmir.. india and pakistan, nothing can be done and move further.
