That's inaccurate. Estimated combat fleet of USAF + USN + Marines is over 3000. A growing number of force multiplier i.e. the F-35 will reach a thousand soon and by 2030, probably near 1500.

What you need to factor in also, is that US keeps a massive fleet of aircraft as "reserves". These include early retired aircrafts and some embargoed and little used at it's "Boneyard". Within a few week's time, in a conflict, you'd have a few thousand extra jets available. Additionally, the US can get NATO aircraft under it's command in a conflict under article 5. So really, to create or "feel" parity, the Chinese forces need to hit at minimum 4000 aircrafts, ideally between 4000-5000 aircraft is better. Plus they need to be deployed on AC's and on land based airbases away from the Chinese mainland. Otherwise, the wars will be fought too close to the Chinese mainland and will effect its infrastructure.

You can't bring all of those aircrafts in a single theatre ( Pacific) ....... china, for all practical purposes , is having numerical parity ...... American goose is cooked in the Pacific theatre.

That's an emotional post rather than factual. You should read about WWII to understand how America can fight this war today.

America is not in a foreign land in Japan, South Korea, Guam and Philippines. Consider these American territories as the US has been here since WWII. Then the last layer of defense is HUWAII and a whole continent of Australia is there too. And at least 8 out of 11 carrier groups can be relocate here. What makes you think 4000 aircraft's can't be deployed in so many nations?

If China doesn't build bases in other countries to expand the war theater, I am afraid the war will be fought at China's door steps and Chinese infrastructure will be extremely vulnerable.

To come out as a global power #2, China MUST spread the war away from it's mainland and spread US's power in multiple regions so it's not targeted towards the Chinese mainland.

Not now, and probably not in the future, because we already have the J-20S.

WS-21/19. Comparable in size to the RD-33 series of engines.
WS-10. comparable in size to AL-31 series engines.
WS-15. a bit shorter than WS-10.

I was just watching a famous Chinese podcast in regard with the unmanned drone which displayed during the parade, where they mentioned if a foreign customer would like to have the drones partner with J-10, J-35, all can be easily customized, including the autonomous unmanned fighter jet, even though they are part of the country's sixth gen program.
