Europe wants a market for its products and diversify away from China and the US. India is the next biggest market and the fastest growing one. They can't afford to not be involved with India . That is why the EU and German leadership is actively engaging India.

This doesn't affect India. If anything , India anticipated this and did not make any military commitments to the Quad. It is really Japan, South Korea, Australia, Phillipines and, most importantly, Taiwan who are going to be worried about this and also the reason they had to surrender on the trade negotiations.
