You have to understand that the US is ripping off the world through the US dollar and dominance over energy, not exports. Most of the trade in the world is done in the US dollar, keeping the US economy afloat, allowing the Federal Reserve to print money at will without serious consequences. The US keeps the value of its US dollar high to maintain its dominance over the forex reserves of central banks in the world. If it devalues its currency, it will experience an export boom for sure.

China isn’t really any different from the US. Both play the same power games. The only real difference is that one is an actual superpower, and if you align with them you at least get something back.

China sent forces to NK because it willingly sent them to stop US forces threatening China's border, not because the Soviets told them to. China and the Soviets were equal partners in the Korean War to resist US Aggression.

China still has no company that can compete with NVIDIA, for example.

Sure, as a chain of thought model it is better (at least initially when it was released) at solving scientific problems in math, physics or chemistry but it does not accept audio commands, cannot process videos or do other stuff. Their hardware limitations are apparent in the limited range of capabilities it offers, but it's still quite impressive in terms of its cost efficiency and logical reasoning. Unfortunately, it's limited to text for now. Another issue that I have had with DeepSeek is that it does not have the same large corpus of data as American companies. So, it does hallucinate sometimes, or make up false shit. This is another clear advantage of the US over China: Data.

China has been an old civilization with great innovations, I don't doubt their capabilities as a nation, but I simply do not see them take over the collective West on their own. The US attracts the best talents from all over the world, including the Chinese! The same cannot be told about China. Biden hurt the US reputation a lot. The US didn't have a president for 4 years and Kamala Harris was a joke. Trump is hurting the US reputation in a different way, but at least he has the right ideas for maintaining the global order in favor of the US.

You know the commercial implication of cultural dominance? Branding.
The West has better branding. And it's going to stay like that for the foreseeable future.

As I said, China is a lone-wolf that prefers to keep quiet and do their thing. China is the Shy Panda for now. It takes more than just technology to replace the US. Even in technology, the US still unilaterally controls the internet. Nearly everything in the internet is owned by the US government and companies.
China has no replacement for that and cannot come up with one in the foreseeable future either.
