Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

There is no point in having "dialogue" with an enemy that is hell bent upon our destruction........how many dialogues have taken place in the past, and what were their results......no matter who is mediating.......india will never accept and we know that, so its futile

This dispute will be settled only after decisive war.

Giving peace a chance over war comes from a position of strength, not weakness. However whether peace or war, Pakistan must not let Indian civilisational stupidity dictate the initiative.

A thought that was on my mind for quite some is that if the J-10s did not need to switch on their radars i.e to trap IAF fighters in their ABC kill chain, we just need fighters that can carry/launch PL-15s being guided by TDL, so it would be a cost effective approach aswell. So PAF can just modify older blocks of JFT to carry PL-15 via this ABC kill chain approach. Is it feasible? And what are the practical implications of that?

Logically yes. The Block I's were all converted to Block II, so the wings were strengthened to be able to carry it.

As to why the Block II's were not modified to carry the PL15E is a complete mystery in a kill chain environment as you have said.

It would be better if the Block II's could deploy the PL15E, as under the best case scenario, you get the extra range of the PL15E as part of the kill chain. The worst case, if the kill-chain is degraded/jammed in combat, then you still get a missile capable of operating at the maximum range of the JF17A/B radar which is the same as the SD-10 in terms of military capability. There is more military advantage in having the PL15E on the JF17A/Bs, then not...

So - yes, it is a complete mystery why PAF has not moved to upgrade the whole JF17 fleet to the PL15E ...

please can we stop posting what the "sikhs" say,
they're not a friend or wellwisher of ours........they too have butchered muslims in 1947. They're one of the biggest haters of muslims everywhere......they just dont show it openly. These cowardly cucks cant even do shit about their khalistan project......its laughable how its some old men harping on when their entire young generation is pro-india and pro-hindutva.

BUT WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

Could be we have not got round to the software bit of mating the PL-15 to the older non AESA radar. China already did the hard work on the AESA/PL-15 integration?

Yes is it practical my cousin bro is in PAF and had great discussion over that and he explain me situation when you can fire BVR missile using bore sight later guided by AWACS.

Possible, but I can't see it being much of an uplift to do given that all military products will work on positional co-ordinates. It would be a case of a radar telling a missile, go and find some meat at co-ordinates x,y,z. The act of adding a new missile itself to the databus, and mission computer should be small to do, and within the capabilities of JF17 Kamra weapons integration lab.

Given the capability uplift, the fact that it has not been done already is odd for sure.

Would need someone from PAF to explain( side-winder ? ) ..

Yeah, I do not know enough about the technical chanllenges here, maybe PL-15 was designed from the outset just to work with AESA radars!?
