India - US Tariff and Relations | News + Updates

Subversion again.
You tell me. If impact on 1% of our exports is a massive impact and makes you happy and contented and satisfied then you have the answer.
For any knowledgeable person with an intent to discuss, the answer is likely to be different.

Yes or no? Simple question you seem to be unable to answer....

You have to answer. I have answered.
Yes or no.
You were the first one to make a celebratory post after Trump’s order, claiming doom for India. Premature celebrations it seems.
It is very clear in Trump’s order.

Not so easy for you my boy.
No running away now for you.
Would this order impact India or not?
Is this order aimed at India.
I know, you wouldn’t answer to these for obvious reasons.
Be careful next time, lest you loose your pants again like this time.

@Fatman17 @Nilgiri I know there is a thread on tarriff but this is a very important Foriagn Policy development and needs separate discussion. THis also explains Mod visit to China and major coordination against Tariff.s

I had heard China had been asking for coordination for several months and now looks like they're getting it.
I don't know how this came about- but there must be a back end deal on this.

India’s sovereignty is non-negotiable': China backs Delhi as Trump threatens tariff hike

@Fatman17
@Yommie
@Beijingwalker

more or less, we find almost all the non-western countries maintain their "sovereignty".
only the US try its 'Fate" outside US/West.........

and hence, we all find only the US dont either its 'fate' within the US, neither their citizens look like having the related "sovereignty" within their homeland :coffee:

I think the trade with E u will double in 3 years

There is big big world out there
Good luck with that, the US annual consumer spending is 18.8 Trillion Dollars. In comparison, Germany is 2.3 Trillion USD, total EU is 9 Trillion. The four EU countries you have FTA with is probably 4 Trillion USD.

For US we need to wait for only 3 more years. Perfectly doable.

USA represent 17 % of India. Total exports in 2024

About 120 billion dollars from total of 800 billion approx global

We are striking new deals from China Africa and in particular Europe union ...

Thank god we are not reliant on them completely

try again, India's total exports to the US in FY ending 2024 was 212 Billion Dollars. Number two export destination is the UAE @ 37 Billion Dollars. Like I said good luck finding 212 B$ worth of stuff to sell to EU, China and Africa.
