Similar problem in Pakistan and many other countries..... glad that Hagseth had shown the courage to confront the beast head-on.

Dear - Everyone is up to date today using their mobile phones. All news and media is at your finger tip. However the Commander in Chief wants them to hear directly from him through the Def. Sec. It's normal.

The US military doesn't have focus on domestics. It's an international organization. You have the national guards for internal stuff under emergencies. You don't need to bring in all the generals for it.

Lastly, the US military is about to go through some serious transformation and it's focus will change. That's what the generals need to know. The US is giving middle eastern security affairs to essentially Pakistan. It wants FULL focus on Pacific and China. That focus is what's going to be the main topic.
 
I've outlined the agenda for Trump's address above. The MAIN cause of this meeting is China. He'll also talk about ending wars in the middle east, shifting USA's priorities towards the Pacific, Russia-Ukraine, etc.

There is credible evidence that China has started preparations to invade Taiwan. This doesn't mean they will invade Taiwan next week. But the preparations have started. It may take months or even a year to carry out a real attempt to retake Taiwan back.

Xi had told Trump in his first tenure that China might attempt to retake Taiwan by 2027. So if they think they are ready before, they might try is earlier.
 
What if Pete wants to show his Generals the " Kaffir " Tattoo he has on one of his arms... just saying its a possibility you know :)

Do not understand him having a kaffir tattoo.

It means one who conceals truth despite being known to him (in his heart). It is often incorrectly translated as non Muslim or infadel, but it's meaning is deeper and more nuanced. It's meaning cannot be objected to and is not something one would be proud to tattoo. Of course, it can apply to non-muslims as well.....but not all.

He must have the same logic where right wing idiots wear shirts that says " Infidel's" they think its some rebellious behavior against Islam and Muslims, you will see similar petty tactics from many hate preachers or Christian apologists around US/UK and EU.
 
This isn't going to be anything big, especially if you were looking at any kind of strike or counterbalance to the Middle East, just because Trump is meeting with Netanyahu today.

These type of comm usually need to know only, it's pointless to call in everyone, as in EVERYONE (my best Gary Oldman accents), to a room and tell them about the strategy, I mean what is the commander of Fort Sam Houston have to do with a strike with Iran if we had one in plan, the more people knows, the more of a OPSEC risk there are. So, with this grand and public meeting, things like this almost have no chance of being on the menu

But then this is the guy who had the Iran Strike Plan put up on Signal and invited a journalist in the group. So I don't know......Maybe Hegseth is that dumb to actually do official talks on this meeting, I don't think I know anything anymore

Again, as my friend said, this is most likely to be a Ra-Ra talk, which he had done before.

I find it odd how people laugh at Hegseth yet unlike Panetta, Hegseth has actual experience. There have been other SecDefs who were of similar rank to Hegseth and they were called "brilliant choices" at the time along with the couple of civilians who served as SecDef.

For now, he's the boss. The short colonel can either get on board or retire. I know a couple O-4s and an O-5 who chose to retire because they weren't into all that DEI crap that was being forced upon them.

You cannot arrive to your new position and harass high ranks militars because their political affiliation, to the point to ask them to pass polygraph test. And he did it.
