When Trump was talking about how the eight Muslim countries supporting the plan were some of the richest in the world who could get things done , he was clearly not talking about Pakistan, which lives IMF bailout to bailout. The Saudis, Emiratis and Qataris will be coming up with the $$$;Jordan, and Egypt will be contributing past regional expertise and probably soldiers; Turkey will be the symbolic NATO presence and might send troops; Indonesia has already indicated it is willing to send soldiers. What exactly will be Pakistan's contribution, if not boots on the ground ? The DPM and Foreign Minister ( FM is now reserved for Field Marshal)has already laid the groundwork and floated the rrial ballon for that in his press conference today.

Supporting a two-state solution (a sovereign State of Palestine alongside Israel) does not automatically mean Pakistan recognizes Israel diplomatically nor needs to sign Abraham Accords.

Recognition is a separate policy decision tied to Palestinian rights.

There is no confusion. In true Pakistani fashion, we are busy milking this for our own domestic political agenda while pretending to be Mujahideen.

The Palestinians agreed to a Two State Solution decades ago. We'd be lucky if they get it.
