People enjoying this should brace for very very dark days ahead…. It would have been better if lumber 1s agency have done convert ops without needing to openly declaring war on another country like hiring local militia etc …… but sighhhs … pdf online army fanboys will get offended when we call them duffers which actually is reality ….
Fucck them all at every terrorist attack in Pakistan. Kill the leaders of TTP and then TTA systematically on daily basis and we will see for how long these MFs can stand. It's time to send these Jahannami dogs to the hell.

Yahya and Ayub are long gone, yet Pakistan never recovered its lost territories.....

Zia is dead, but religious extremism and terrorism thrive....

Musharraf has vanished, yet the legacy of Lal Masjid and allowing US drone strikes still haunts us....

Asim Munir will soon be gone too, but terrorism from Afghan soil will only intensify and gain momentum...

Dictators think only of their own years in power... the destruction they leave behind lasts for decades...
Short sightedness is not unique to dictators.

Yes, its what CIA/ISI has taught them since 1979, alongwith smuggling. You could have taught them same Matric as elsewhere in Pakistan but apparently these poor folks are only worthy of fighting and dying in Afghanistan. Now reap what you have sown.
You do know that the the leaders of the Mehsud's didn't come into prominence till 2004 right? 2004... The clan can dates back to days of the Barakzai dynasty in Afghanistan - not all people with that surname are terrorists or "smugglers" as you decided to put it - one is a very famous folk singer in KPK the other is a humanitarian.

Smuggling existed during the Anglo-Afghan War in the late 1800's - was ISI responsible for that too?

More details instead fake propaganda

No need for a filthy slumdog to rejoice because it is now a new normal. If that MF indeed escaped this time, may not be able to survive next time. Ultimately it will come to terrorist Hindutva slumdogs too.

Of course, short sightedness isn’t exclusive to dictators, politicians are not immune to it either... The difference is, at least politicians have to face the public. Elections, however flawed, still hold them answerable. Their careers stretch over decades, and they obsess over legacy because they want their names (and their dynasties/families) to live on in politics.

Dictators, on the other hand, couldn’t care less. They don’t need votes... they don’t fear accountability... and they certainly don’t think beyond their own tenure... Their only ideology is power, their only policy is survival. Once they’re gone, it’s the country that’s left to clean up the mess they made in their few glorious years of "absolute control."....

You started hearing about Mehsud in 2004 because of the insurgency in Pakistan that was covered by foreign press. The Mehsuds have been fighting in Afghanistan since 1980s. Their land was among the primary staging grounds for training and infiltration into Afghanistan.

I didn't call all Mehsuds terrorists or smugglers. I only pointed out what Establishment thought they were worth.

I agree with this

This pretty much a declaration of war, if you were going to do this then might as well have gone all the way and targeted the Afghan leadership as well.

Afghans aren’t a problem for Pakistanis, what can a rag tag militia do against an organized army?

Now not only do they have a hostile east but they also have a hostile west.

And Afghans are going to be Afghans, they aren’t going to fight openly, they are going to do hit and runs, suicide bombings, prompting Pakistan to move their resources west from east.

This is a lose, this isn’t a win. A win would be neutralizing Afghanistan to focus on India, but that’s not gonna happen.
Hit and run where? Pak's goal is not to occupy their land. They have to cowardly sneak into Pakistan and launch terrorist attacks. But it will be just one-way journey. Will not be able to go back alive. Let's see how many of them dare sneaking in to get only a death.

Moreover, Pak knows most of their hide-outs even in Afghanistan. They will be smoked out in their hides if it comes to take.

Bahi I am well aware of the history of the people of the region. Considering I have experienced it...

covered by foreign press.
lol...

I do not live in a vacuum. Your information is inaccurate - Mehsud's fought in the first war of Afghan independence and during the Anglo Afghan war too as did the majority of Pashtun clans.

Establishment
You seem to throw all the malba on "establishment"... I would urge you to educate yourself. Please travel to Golra Model Train Station

It is a train station that has been preserved as the British left it post partition - inside the train station is the mock up of the station masters officer, there is a ledger there from the Railway's Police Sgt - entry dated 1th July 1910 recording smuggling by "Pathans" of muskets.

So kindly do not throw all the societal malba on "Establishment".

"Secular scholar and a champion of feminist principals." This twink would have gotten full Diddy treatment by "His Excellency".
