You asked for a source I provided it - up to you to make of it what you will. Like I said - who was providing us Intelligence? Also good threat perception dictates if you suspect an enemy is about to attack you do not wait for it to make the first strike.

This principal is also enshrined in the concept of self-defence which is available to both citizens and nations alike.

I was referring to a credible/neutral source (or better yet, a Soviet admission)... The CIA can hardly be treated as credible here.. it was both instigator and stakeholder, eager to convince Pakistan that a Soviet invasion was imminent. Yet even their reports never explicitly claim that Moscow planned to attack Pakistan...

In fact, Soviet declassified records paint a completely different picture, one of hesitation and reluctance to enter Afghanistan, even when invited. But that’s another discussion...

Chinese are business people. CPEC is an investment for them. They won't give anything for free but maybe on soft loans terms.

In May 2025 conflict, China could have provided with a second squadron of J-10s or even another HQ-9 for AD, but didnt. PAF had to do so with only 20 x J-10s.

Eventually, chinese weapons got recognition.

I just told you about large scale collaborations between Pak and China in just the last 3 days and your response is that China-Afg Alliance has become bigger ?

In what universe and what basis ? You are the first person in this Universe who ever mentioned a Sino-Afg alliance. At best they called Afghan rep over to Beijing to bash him if he does not start behaving with Pakistan. Is that an Alliance ? If you are just gonna repeat some nonsense gossip without baking it up then keep going, but I'll repeat again, Pak-China relations are totally fine and getting better, while China has nothing to do at all with either India or Afg.

Read my past post no J35 will arrive to pak airforce and if Pakistan is even idiotic enough to enter long term war with Afghanistan which I honestly won´t even count it out as this admin lacks for sight, China will cut all ties as all there investments on both sides will go to the dust-pin because they want Pakistan to gatekeep India and not Afghanistan plus they have alot of investments in Afghanistan such as rare earth minerals
