Afghans come in with bags of cash and book entire crops of wheat. Like what are we doing?
That is the problem of our trade relationship with Afghanistan - this has been the means of trade with Afghans since the early 70's - It will not change so quickly because the majority of Afghan traders do not use modern banking, they deal in cash transactions.

Much more work and control is needed on this.

Why is Pak state not making a massive furore about the deaths of Pak citizens by Indian sponsored and controlled terrorists… it should be on the news and massive diplomatic offensive against India. Get it on the FATF blacklist as international sponsor of terrorism…
Last time Pakistan did that - it got ridiculed by our own "analysts" and "wise men" on social media - too many vested interested living within our own borders and comfy outside throwing paper planes in an attempt to mock. Ask these same people for credible solutions and they are quickly mute.

"Tis the mocked man that mocks the mocker"

They are just exploiting the cash based system of Pakistan. The problem is our own. We have surrendered to aarthis and traders.

Same for forex traders and so forth.

Yes that is great lets drop all the malba on Pakistan, but then where are the solutions? Reminds me of someone who once cooked a nice dish and the guest complained there is too much salt.

We all know what the problems are - "wise men" keep reminding us what our problems are. But are very slow to provide actual solutions.

Nobody cares about Indian or Pakistani allegations against each other. Both hands are dirty. People also have not forgotten which safehouse OBL was caught from and who spent 20 years putting Taliban back on the throne in Kabul.

It's like the Kargil blunder, you are on your own.

No one's hands are clean in realpolitik.

Achha bhai sorry. Keep chasing Afghans while our whole economy is cash based. Good luck.

The solution is staring in our faces for years! Control the cash economy, register businesses and move them to formal channels.

Jabh Shabbar Zaidi ko GHQ bula ke let go kerne ka bolain ge tau phir rona kis baath ka.

Why is China not bother geo-politics in Afghanistan? It wants to buy Afghan minerals at cheap low cost but makes no effort to stop its rival hostile Delhi from finding a foot hold in there? Is Beijing not interested in Security? China will regret it in the very near future. If they continue to support Kabul buying loads of minerals and turning a blind eye to kabuls funded militancy in neighbouring ally Pakistan.

Afghan society as I explained is highly fractured - they are far too divided on ethnic lines - many still feel the need to establish microstates based on such ethnic lines. Which is why any mediation inside Afghanistan is complex. As for Afghan Taliban - to them, they want to establish an Islamic Emirate that will span beyond the Durrand line and if Indians are laughing now - they wont stop at our borders - This is their "wet dream"

obviously impossible in today's world where nations bordering Afghanistan outgun, outnumber and can easily overpower the Taliban. Which is why Indians dancing now - they don't know what they are dealing with.
Bottom line, Afghanistan should be a part of Pakistan. There should be no qualm about it.

Ap defensive ho gaye? All I said was where are the solutions?
The solution is stating in our faces for years!
And how many governments came before hand who could have ended this if the solutions were so easy?

Yes but for that you need buy in from parties with vested interests - people with wealth, power and connections that span borders. How then do we address this?

Okay - and refer back to my second point.

We all as Pakistanis are fond of history lessons.

Nahi just frustrated. I have been reading about abh documentation ho gi, faisla ho gaya, koi riayat nahi for 2 decades. We as a country are not serious.

As part of FATF efforts all this was to be done including gold and precious stones business and whole sellers.

Then again to increase taxes. But first the news goes out of fashion and then nothing happens.

We run our country as wild Wild West and expect no repercussions.
