I just remembered I read how 23rd Squadron of PAF was deployed in KPK region in 1961 for CAS operations with Hawker Fury aircraft carrying cannons and bombs. The problem from Afghanistan started before 1947 and in 1950's even with the idea of an independent land as Pashtunistan. They still want KPK torn apart from Pakistan and joined with them.
