Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

We should target the Taliban administration people forget that the Taliban is the de facto government targeting administrators will hurt them far more then a few cannon fodder dying in border posts.

Waiting for a cool head or unable to refute with evidence?
In your unjustifiable anger, you made a bunch of nonsense claims. There's nothing to refute.

Again, come back when you calm down.

So border is still hot or cool now?

Also who is new TTP chief and where is he located?
Fighting seems to have mostly died down, with some reports of minor skirmishes going on. There are also reports of Pakistani drones and jets over Afghan cities continuing to operate with impunity.

Got it. You cannot defend IK/PTI support for TTP. That's fine even you don't admit. Makes absolutely no difference.

Even the center isn't aligned with the center.

PTI's naivety will go away eventually, but it doesn't help that they're actively being denied their political rights. Can you blame PTI supporters of being skeptical, when they were denied a clear mandate?

Regardless, the TTP issue needs to be dealt with by the army first and foremost. They're ultimately responsible for the security of the nation, not PMLN, not PPP, not MQM, and certainly not PTI.
Fair point that PTI's political grievances need to addressed. That should continue to be a conversation.

The situation on the other hand is that the cancer of TTP needs to be uprooted in tandem. In order to do so, Army and all LEA agencies need to execute on a plan which is the NAP. The center needs alignment and partnership with KP on NAP. If the first item is constantly getting in the way executing the second one, and given the dire nature of the second one, then should it not require some rethink on the part of PTI?

What are we fighting for if the entire KP is slowly but surely being surrendered to the obscurantist mindset?

Remember Karachi and its mess in the 90s? The entire city and the province had to be aligned with the center. It was a draconian Operation Clean-Up. Back then too the center and province of Sind were at odds and constantly bickering. Yet they carried out that operation and a lot of people died but since then Karachi has not gone back to the dynamics of the past.

Something very similar is needed in KP with support of PTI.

There are no NO Pakistani jets flying over Afghan cities. Please let's not give air to misinformation.

I've been debating other people just fine, who've all made good points.

You have not.

Again, your emotions point is nonsense. There is nothing to refute, because what you said is gibberish.

Which policies in particular?

If it's the whole resettlement issue, it's already been proven that it was the military that signed off on it.

Nothing happens in Pakistan's security circles without the army signing off on things.

Again, the ultimate sentinel of Pakistan is the army.
The policy of not cooperating with the center and implementing the NAP. In essence this situation requires a massive operation. IK is hell-bent against it.

If you think everyone in KP is cooperating and supporting the actions of the center then you are mistaken.

Army can carry out kinetic operations but the whole idea of counter insurgency and counter terrorism is to clear and hold. If the hold part is without good administration, justice, development, the TTP will fill the void as they have been doing with regularity.

No, they don't not.

Again, all these claims of what PTI's doing, when every single other party has done the same, yet only PTI gets targeted.

Because others realized it and shut their mouths, while PTI leadership still continues with this idiotic approach.

Pakistani academic/elite is so **** when it comes to using brute force against external enemies.
The left has soft corners for india while the right call TTP and TTA brothers.
Idk about you guys, but **** that shit they are not my brothers. Last time I checked a brother doesnt look down to you or wants to kill you.

Today i head one turd calling the filth we dispached to hell over the weekend, "shaheed", and equating them to our soldiers. I mean how mentally retarded you have to be to even come up such a stupidity?

Now we wait for the next terrorist attack, Sayed Munir shall blow up a few building, and this cycle will continue.

Sure, but the issue is that the army has not given anything to actually get PTI to trust them on anything. The biggest issue I've heard from PTI supporters is that the army will just go in and arrest PTI's leadership in KPK, and use TTP as an excuse to destroy the party once and for all.

The ball is in Asim Munir's court. He needs to show he's actually sincere, and so far he's failed at that.

Which other party in Pakistan is supporting the terrorists of TTP and targeting Pak military with false propaganda and lies? Who is calling TTP dead terrorists as shaheed? No PTI leader or KPK official has ever attended the funeral prayers of Pakistani shuhada, who sacrificed their lives while protecting Pakistan and its people.

No one can deceive or deny PTI's alliance with terrorist TTP after so much clear evidence.

Bhai i can still hear Marium Nawaz chanting along "yeh jo wardi is k peechy wardi hai".
I vividly remember patwaris throwing stones at army convoys.

Dont get me started on this. There is no point in blaming only PTI for what every political party in Pakistan did.

Any updates on Khyber Storm please?

So my question is: without ending existing Military & Para-military deployments in KP, why not let the PTI attempt its policy for ‘talks’, whilst simultaneously planning for the ‘day after’ talks fail?

Sir, we all know the sort of demands they put up. Are we willing to accept those? just a fresh example from today's tribal jirga in Tirah :

1. Free movement of TTP fighters in Tribal Areas
2. Implementation of whatever version of Shariah they believe in

it's not like this option is being tried for the first time in history. Did any peace agreement work in the past? at some point it's always destined to fail. Only to find us, them having re-grouped and undone the previous gains of military operations. And the cycle starts again. We really had good success in Zarb e Azb and the graph was on the decline until we saw TTP fighters getting resettled once again hoping that the animals may yet behave.
