Pakistan is now pounding Taliban positions and operating drones deep inside Afghanistan striking with precision and purpose. The enemy is no longer just being watched; it’s being engaged, neutralized, and erased.

No major towns and less population is a pro point too.

You need not make it Gaza like. Can just enter and get it. Not major relocation needed.

But I don't like this idea. We should avoid it. Land grabbing in this age is not a good optics.

You misunderstood me. By Con, I meant the moderate population. Not that there are no towns. Preferably we should take areas with little to no population like wakhan, Kandahar and Helmand deserts upto River, Southern most areas of paktika province.

But current eastern back of Kunar offers the most, security wise, but has many villages.

And who GAF about optics. Forget Syria, Did anyone stop Turkey from taking large parts of Iraq as a buffer.? Or Golan for Syria? At some point we will have to grow a pair.

The Taliban could receive supplies of Surface to Air Missiles from India from the Indian Farkhor (Ayni) Air Base in Tajikistan:
Also an unspecified number of Super Tucanos still in flying condition with dissident pilots ( now flipping loyalties) could fly back to support Afghan ground operations.

Pakistan easily use F-7s to establish a no-fly zone and shoot down the Super Tucanos or destroy convoys of supplies heading towards Kabil and further south but intelligence would be needed.

Which is why the only verified reports of actual Pakistani jet strikes came on the 9th. Everything since then has been hoaxes or UAVs and since the 9th, there have been no verified reports of Airstrikes by Fighter Jets deep into Afghanistan, other than the attacks on tanks or posts at border regions.

India would love to score a kill against PAF and we have all seen from Ukraine how shoulder mounted rockets have been able to take out anything from high tech helicopters to Advanced Russian Fighter Jets. In my opinion sending jets in now, would be really risky, unless very, very necessary. UAVs are doing the job perfectly fine, jets are an unnecessary overkill in this situation.
