Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

Afghan terrorists on Twitter are celebrating the beheading of Pakistani soldiers.

Blood boiling.

I'm a leftist peacenik in most aspects, except when it comes to these dogs.

Nothing Except for the complete annexation of Wakhan, and the killing of talib leaders will satisfy me.

These creatures that treat even their own people like animals need to be eradicated.
These people really are the lowest form of human. A case of no mercy and the full force thrown at these bastards……

I can commercially buy any number of NVGs that are of good quality. Not to the current level carried by the military but certainly far better than 20 years ago.
I actually thought of buying a NV scope a long time back, as I do space research (Astroimaging and Astrometery, etc) and I wanted some equipment for my Telescope and Scientific Instruments to be able to view the surroundings or setup locations under dark skies (and they also have a lot of scientific utility in space research).

But I have never been able to buy one in any of the countries I have been to. Even with a legitimate scientific use, nobody wants to touch this topic with a 20 foot pole and i gave up on the idea after some research. Becasue wherever I asked, I was told that the US has export controls on High Performance NVGs or any other High Quality NV instruments.

So I don't think it would be possible for people like the Taliban with such bad rep, to be able to maintain thousands of them

This has been my experience, at least for a real case use.

Yes, ITAR is a real thing here.

Coworker of mine in New Zealand asked about sending him a part for his M1A (civilian copy of the M-14). Said "sure, nothing I'd like more than to go to federal prison for that".

He wasn't aware the part he was asking for is also used on the M-14.
