You can not afford to weaken Afghan government (be it karzai, Ashraf ghani or IEA) to a point that afghan land is open field for ISIS and others.

They still need to have some capabilities to tackle any foreign terrorist groups that want to establish base in Afghanistan. Otherwise you will have a Syria on your border.

This is a important point

Without a ready replacement for the Taliban idiots, you will chaos and Afghanistan will be a pit of violence for it's people where isis, AQ and others will flourish

We just need to give the Taliban a beating and hope they get the picture and we can move forward with TTP and BLA under control

Whether that will happen we don't know yet

If I were an Afghan right now, I'd stay as far away from those missiles as possible. For all I know, the well experienced Taliban rocket Force would fire half of them upon themselves.
