The problem at Chaman border is that it's a goddamn fish market. Unlike videos of strikes in other border areas, this area is different. You can close it from your side but there is always some civilian activity around the border (and even your side, ppl are illiterate and wandering around like idiots). Can't just drop a Mk-80 and be done with. That creates opportunities for IED based attacks. Very difficult situation in which forces are doing a commendable job. Extremely frustrating we lost good men. We need to interdict their reinforcement convoys.

Totally agree. Pakistan was taking losses before in terrorist attacks before, so this is expected. Over 580 attacks this year.. Better to bite the bullet now and degrade their ability to do harm completely in the future and with that, there will be some losses unfortunately.
