Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

I'm absolutely fine with becoming any of those countries too.

Different societies, Iranian mind works very differently.

I have really high hopes for our Gen-Z. They're well-educated, cosmopolitan, and some of them are very patriotic as well. Sure, they have their own issues as well, like lack of motivation or rude language, but we're moving away from superstitions fortunately.

IRI will be gone not through some bloody revolution, but through slow decay of dysfunctional system. Its already happening with Hejab Laws where govt. did not remove them overnight, people just stopped giving shit what Mullahs had to say, government had to save face by complying.

In next 5-8 years we will forget there was a Mullah rule in Iran.

I doubt Iran would survive 8 years with this regime. And I doubt this regime would change course either.

Idiot Netanyahu

Do not mix nation with a system of government. IRI is a system that can be replaced tomorrow if Khamenei and few others pack their bags and leave. Iranian nation is not going anywhere since last 2800 years.

The history of Iran did not begin with the Medes or even with the Elamites 5,000 years ago. Iran is the oldest country in the world, and its history dates back as far as 8,000 - 12,000 years ago:

I could provide many more examples, but this thread isn't about history.

Go where? They haven't come to a party to leave, as Rafsanjani worded it perfectly. lol I mean I really wish they would do that and let a smooth transition of power take place, but I don't see it as likely.

I see zero change in the system after the war with Israel. A slow coup is going in the background by the reformists but the system in general seems pretty inflexible and resists change.

There are people who even want to return Hijab laws. Look up what some random Ayatollah in the judiciary system said today.

They will die eventually. Majority are old fools now. Younger generation of Iran and by that I mean people even in the system do not care about their irrational policies of IRI. Like I said, change is already happening, its not overnight revolution so people dont realise it.

You're assuming that we have infinite time and things will stay more or less the same until these fools die and sane people replace them. I really hope that would be the case, even though it's still a huge price to pay because we are talking about the lives of millions of Iranians being wasted by these people for years, but I think that's just wishful thinking.

The world is changing extremely fast and we do not have much time left in my opinion. Iran is falling behind in every major field and we may never be able to catch up again.

5 years is not infinite time. Things are changing as we speak, hejab BS is gone. Average Ayatollah is now ~85, their supporters are few.

Slow decay of IRI has started, it will totally be a new system in next 5 years. USSR decayed slowly too, revolution can never be replaced with another revolution because that means civil war and Iranians are not that type of people.

There's no guarantee that the Ayatollahs will die by then. Jannati is already 98 years old, soon to be 99 years old and he's still alive lol

Let's wait and see but I have a feeling that bad things are going to happen soon.
At least that seems to be what common sense suggests. Assuming that the US and Israel will just let Iran be for 5 years while Iran has been severely weakened is very optimistic to say the least.

That's besides internal issues like high inflation and constant devaluation of our national currency.

NEW: Iranian missiles struck a secret highly-secured underground US-Israeli military base during the 12-day warA Grayzone investigation revealed that on June 13, Iranian missile struck northern Tel Aviv, hitting a secret underground US-Israeli military base (known as Site 81) hidden beneath the Da Vinci Towers. The base, ran jointly by US and Israeli intelligence, serves as a command-and-control center connected to Israel’s main military HQ, the Kirya (“Fortress of Zion”). Its exact location was secret until now.Evidence from leaked emails, public contracts, and geolocation ties Site 81 to American defense firms and Israeli intelligence units, including Unit 8200. Companies inside the Da Vinci complex — like AI21 Labs and Perimeter 81 — are linked to Israeli cyber-military operations. The bunker sits beneath civilian housing, shops, a playground, and a community center, which shows that the same claim Israel used against Hamas, is just a fact they themselves are doing: Using civilians as cover for military assets — the same “human shielding” it accuses others of.

"After the strike, Israel censored reporting, removed Google Maps and Yandex imagery of the area, and blocked journalists from filming."
