Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

Essentially this. Going forward they're a permanent thorn now and being medievil savages, will constantly keep sending their men to fight and die against us. They'll also side with India to bring in heavy weaponry to threaten our forces.

Regime change is a must, though I can't see it happening.
We've seen leftist/socialists and these religious fanatics and we've seen Afghans from Pashtuns to other ethnic groups. The fact is whoever came to power never recognized the state of Pakistan from day one and they always chose to ally with the Indians. A regime change therefore would make no difference. The best move in my view would be disintegration of Afghanistan. It's a failed state. Period. Neither they can live together nor let others live.

I knew from day 1 in 2003 these talibs were retarded for going all in with OBL and AQ. If Pakistan had firmly closed its border to them like now NATO would have massacred them.

Many of us, including me, have been proven wrong. I thought the Afghan Taliban of August 2021 MUST have learned some lessons from the previous 20 years of pounding by the Americans. The Afghan Taliban even tried to say then that they are no longer the same people and that was so believable--you know, 20 years of global connectivity and younger people then. They presented a few English speaking spokesmen. They indeed do good on establishing the 'peace' in Afghanistan, and on removing the poppy cultivation, reducing corruption, etc etc.
But they were too dumb to realize their path to power and prosperity runs through Pakistan and not through some misguided ideological support to a fringe group like the Pakistani Taliban.

They obviously are and I agree celebrating death on any side is deplorable.. However, suffering "hundreds" of Pakistani casualties was bound to lead to emotions baying for blood of those who support and orchestrate these attacks.

The way out is talks. The door is wide open for the Taliban to reign in TTP, which they most likely will not take in the short to medium term, and have full relations with Pakistan.

Pakistan has been talking since the beginning. The Taliban outrightly reject the accusation that TTP is responsible for terrorism in Pakistan. The Taliban point fingers at Pakistan's internal problems.

There is no talking with the Taliban.

There was no PAF action as far as all the reporting shows. UCAV action but nothing done by crewed aircraft.
A video was posted on twitter on the first night I think page 13 of this thread with respect to Khost and some other city. It sounded like jet and something which looked like afterburner.
Maybe it was some old vid or something else.

mean having to fight an insurgency.

Not necessarily... I posted that a couple days back. Only move the line tacitly ... incremental controlling the pacified areas as the line moves forward. But that would leave limited to no resistance behind.
That has been the Russian approach in Ukraine... instead of going swinging and taking over large swaths only to find stiff resistance and a prepared enemy. Do not engage in a battlefield conducive to their form of war.

Allow the belligerents to hit the wall!

He should stay quiet for time being,
but who knows, who is using his twitter.
check out the history of his tweets while in the "incarceration", the timing and content has been always against the interest of the state, the military and the government , as if playing as a 12th player for any adversary of Pakistan.

this account is being managed by people abroad and they will remain relevant as long as he stays in Jail or worse. this is why whenever there have been efforts to get him relief or there have been stories of reproachment and a patch-up with the establishment, a hailstorm of abuse and slurs comes out from leading verified accounts against Pakistan that even includes sharing and liking videos and photos uploaded by terrorists.

Not the best solution.
If india can buy them, you can buy them and they will offer you a competitive price. Just pay few million dollars. Be the America for them, treat them with few millions and sanction them when needed

There is a business man way of tackling problem
Other is political way
Hardest and least practicable is the ڈنڈا method, stick break things

You know which way this will head right? It will morph into a protection/security racket rife to be exploited by the highest bidder...
You'll not only have to keep paying more but every penny paid will be used against you by upgrading capabilities.
There is a reason why warlords canbe propped up so easily in war torn collapsed societies... each one creates their own little bubble... and gun slinging pays... not much different from European colonial shtick of the past. A tribute for safety... what GCC does...
At the end only might makes right.

It is extremely important for Pakistanis to see the GIANT MOLE within Pakistan!! I know we are in the dangerous territory of Pakistani politics: But why don't he and his closest affiliate totally 'disown' that account? You know why not because of 'plausible deniability'!!! Every good Tweet is 'owned', and every bad one is 'disowned'. I don't think there is any doubt about that but for you, a senior respectable PDF member, to not really say that is a bit strange. Mere Bhai: Is there any doubt left in your mind?!

Every ceasefire allows them to regroup. Big mistake. Make my words. They'll start again some time tonight or in the morning.
Regroup to do what?

Yes, they will start again in the short to medium term, but now they know a significant cost will be extracted from them inside of Afghanistan.

So now it is up to their own cost-benefit analysis. There are no more "free/no implication or w/o repercussion" attacks inside Pakistan any longer.

Sounds like the second ceasefire isn’t holding.

It’s a bad idea to agree to ceasefire. It’s best to neutralize the Taliban after such a war no side will trust each other.

Eliminate or severely weaken their government/army, create buffer zone, they can sort out their own affairs post-Taliban.

Bolded part.
Right. I believe the State of Pakistan has decided to use its geopolitically higher status and support to be aggressive against Pakistan's enemies when they propose a threat.
