Winter is not the fighting season for Taliban historically speaking.Winter risks bringing Afghan infiltration
Agencies tighten security as cross-border terror threats rise

October 17, 2025
With the onset of winter, Pakistani security agencies have warned of a growing threat of terrorists crossing over from Afghanistan into Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P). Officials say terrorist groups have altered their strategy, attempting to infiltrate through the border regions of Chitral, Kurram, Bajaur, and Khyber. However, timely response by security forces successfully foiled these attempts and prevented the formation of new terror networks.
According to police sources, a fresh security plan has been drawn up following recent cross-border attacks. Intelligence-based operations are underway to identify and investigate facilitators allegedly operating under the guise of Afghan refugees. Security arrangements in Peshawar, Khyber, Mohmand, and Bajaur have also been reassessed.
Official data reveals that 382 attacks on police were reported in 2025, compared to 232 in 2024. While 105 terror strikes were thwarted last year, 244 have been foiled so far in 2025.
also they will starve without usWinter is not the fighting season for Taliban historically speaking.
Students withdraw to Tarkhar Province in winters and recently to the east. They pick up big attacks in the fighting season which starts in March.also they will starve without us
And, this border will be moving left - one salami slice per day....Pakistan includes the Afghan areas it controls on its map
Pakistan announced that it would never return the 19 checkpoints it seized from Afghanistan
Instead, these 19 points will be officially added to Pakistan's national map as new 'tourist attractions'.

good argument .You sound like a kid who is detached from reality.
Like someone in their pre-teens puberty
There will be no half-measures here bro it is either all out war or nothing to the bitter end as both sides are hardcore elements on the extreme side who don´t know half measure.
Qatar has alot of work cut out for them as both sides feel wronged especially Afghanistan they don´t see themelves part of TTP nor having relations with them. They feel like Pakistan´s internal issues is being forced down their throats and see this as existential war.
Both countries are brotherly nations whether they entirely wipe each other off the face of the earth or not that fact will never change.
Qatar has the chance to prevent one of the greatest disasters in the Ummah´s history.. The refugee count could top 100 million from both countries as Civil war is bound to take hold in Pakistan as well the hotter the war gets
ahh great, our enlightened political analysts have shown up.This is nothing but battle for Bagram.
Really, all of this for Bagram? So do share, how would the US/Pak hold Bagram without taking over the entire country?US asked for Bagram. Taliban declined. US then unleased it's "hired militia" - Munir & company to attack Afghanistan to achieve that objective.
lol, give it a rest larper, im not sure why you lot decide to derail every thread with your verbal diarrhoea. Prince of Persia? more like Prince of Bihar. @OscarUS needs Bagram, critical minerals and all mining rights in Afghanistan before Chinese grab them.
In any case, Afghans will not bow - they never have, they never will.
how many of those countries are hostile, genius?Have US taken over all the countries where they hold bases ?.
put the joint down and take the tinfoil hat off o woke one.Think beyond what's being served to you as a narrative.
When you say NO to US, they come after you. Afghans flatly declined to US.
This is nothing but battle for Bagram.

Good map just to mention ETIM and AQN operate in the North East as well.
