So, we’re not as strong against Afghanistan as some may think.
brother they are getting bitchslapped by fc and drones ,
What’s the end game in this? The Taliban aren’t going anywhere. They’re probably more secure than ever before.
they stop supporting ttp and bla and live like nirmal humans

I have a solution to this mess with Afghanistan. The only problem is, it needed to be applied in the past. Now we have no choice but the deal with things as they are now.

I think the self-appointed rulers in Pakistan didn’t expect things to escalate as much as they have. For weeks I was hearing about Pakistani plans for regime change in Afghanistan. I’m sure the Taliban also watch Pakistani talk shows and knew about it. Instead of surrendering they decided to fight.

FM-SAM and Company have kicked a hornet’s nest. If regime change was the plan then they can forget about it now. If anything, the people of Afghanistan will support the Taliban. No one wants their government overthrown by a foreign power. If it had to be done it should have been done from behind the scenes.

The timing couldn’t be worse. The Pashtuns of Pakistan were already under stress because of the way PTI was suppressed. Now we’re at war with the Pashtuns of Afghanistan as well.

What could go wrong?

Pakistan couldn't care less about regime change

The Afghans have attacked Pakistan, We've had repeated attacks against us over the last 5 years

WHILST we had millions of worthless namak haram afghans in the country

That's all over now,
We are throwing the Afghans namak harams out
We are closing the border
No trade or port access

And for every Afghan terrorist attack, we shall hit them back with major strikes

If this is the war the Afghans want, then they will get it

Any traitor within the country who can't stand up for or with Pakistan, should be charged and imprisoned

For too long Pakistan has walked on egg shells, denied it's own strategic interests and self defence because it was worried how ethnocentric idiots would react

Use the law and arrest, charge and punish traitors

The Afghans have ALREADY seriously harmed Iran, and they can't be allowed to attack Pakistan

There is no end game. Only more of the same.

For Pakistan it is straightforward. Close the border, repatriate Afghans, stop TTP infiltration and strike Afghanistan after a terror attack.

Pakistan Afghanistan relation is end of life. This relationship won't improve.
And the alternative sort of endgame is much much more costly and dangerous for Pakistan.

That’s only the start of things going downhill.

For one thing, the bulk of Pakistan’s military is on India’s border. On the west there’s probably very little. So, we’re not as strong against Afghanistan as some may think. Second, if it was terrorism we want to stop, now we can expect more.

What’s the end game in this? The Taliban aren’t going anywhere. They’re probably more secure than ever before.
There are 2 x Corps HQs with 4 x Infantry divisions on Afghanistan border. That is around ~48000-55000 troops of regular Army. There are 2 x JF-17 squadrons and 1 x F-7PG squadron. That is around ~54-60 fighter aircrafts. There are 4 x FC formations. Thats around ~40000 FC troops. Plus there are Constabulary, Levies, etc.

Is this not enough ? what are you trying to achieve.

We failed to understand that investing in Taleban could backfire....they are only Afghans

Put tons of drones in the air. And, tons of long range artillery/rockets for precise strikes....

The military and airforce are in the east, facing India

We have the FC and drones for the west, the FC has improved a lot over the years and may be improved further going forward, it will always come second to the military but they are more then enough for Afghanistan and are becoming battle hardened and will most likely start getting better dedicated equipment, rather then just army hand-me-downs

There is a reason PAF sent its aircraft for bombing runs. 1000 lb and 2000 lb bombs give a clear message about the damage capability at a certain area. The precision strikes from drones are to reduce collateral damage, basically spare civilians and unnecessary damage.

For FPV drones, the proximity from enemy plays an important factor. They are coming out in the open near the border for now. LMG, RPG, tank cannon, mortar and artillery fire is good for 1.5 kms to 12 kms, depending which weapon is used.

big difference.

we are talking about creation/foundation of pakistan. IVC has got nothing to do with it. had there been no islam, there would have been no pakistan. simple. and that began with MbQ. there may have been multiple countries following hinduism, or a part of united india.

egypt and iraq would still have been egypt and iraq without islam.

Reclaiming your lands in the name of Islam is on way mean you have to discard your identity as the custodian of world most ancient civilization.

Egypt and Iraq in their present state has nothing to do with their respective civilization, hell, they abandoned their identity and their ancient language and adopted Arabic and became Arabic. Yet they hold on to their roots.

IVC gives us superiority over the hyper national Indians, Afghans and Persians. Because we were the ultimate custodians of this region long before these lot existed. So if they claim our lands because xyz, we can always fall back on IVC and slap them up.

This is easy to disprove by simply looking at who innhabited Iraq under Sassanid rule, before Iraq was incorporated into the Rashidun Caliphate. It was Arab tribes.

Such "big" claims shouldn’t be thrown around so casually.
