I know about Azerbaijan-Turkey ties and I've heard these turkish ammunition for JF-17 Block 3 rumors too. But I'm struggling to see how this works:
Option 1: Integrate Turkish missiles with the
Chinese KLJ-7A AESA radar and avionics? I doubt China would allow that—they tightly control their tech, especially radar/avionics and in turkey case they will definitely adhere to these control.
Option 2: Swap in
full Turkish radar, avionics, AND munitions? That's no small task! It'd basically mean like
redesigning a new aircraft—tough testing, years of delays, and huge costs.
Plus, Turkey's MURAD AESA radar is
liquid-cooled, while JF-17 needs
air-cooled for compatibility. No air-cooled Turkish AESA exists yet, so integration sounds very much difficult.
I'm no aerospace expert, but from what I've learned here, this feels way more complicated than it seems.
